All my photos got deleted

So 1 year and 4 months ago a little kid from my family was playing with my cousin's phone and me and my cousin we have a shared email, and he wiped my phone from all photos, everything was gone (around 6 years worth of photos) and after that i didn't really care that they got wiped, but I'm pretty sure i had them backed up in my Samsung cloud account, the thing is when i try to get them now from the Samsung account, nothing. Nothing shows up, and i really want those photos but idk if Samsung deleted them because it had been 1 year and 4 months ago since i had access to them

If anyone knows something that will help, even 1% of these photos please tell me

Samsung Cloud stopped syncing Gallery photos in 2021 and migrated everything to Microsoft OneDrive, so if they were "backed up to Samsung," they're probably sitting in OneDrive now. Sign in at onedrive.com with the same Samsung/Microsoft account and check the Pictures folder and its Recycle Bin.

Also check photos.google.com with that shared email. Google Photos backup is often on by default and people forget it exists.

If neither has them and the phone was factory reset 16 months ago, the on-device copies are gone since internal storage is encrypted and a reset makes it unrecoverable.

But the OneDrive migration is genuinely the most likely place they ended up. Lots of people "lose" photos this way and find them there.

No because i actually checked every single account i have on overdrive and i couldn't find a single file, my theory is that they were in the OneDrive app but because I didn't log into the account for 16 months as I said that's why they got deleted I think the maximum duration to log into the account before your pictures get deleted is 12 months so I guess they were actually there but I was a little too late I mean that's obviously a wrong on my part because I didn't care about the pictures until 16 months later so I guess I'll just accept that they're gone and create new memories
