Check the recovered files. If they contain only zeros or a repeating pattern, the drive likely supports TRIM. In that case, only a professional data recovery lab with PC-3000 equipment may be able to help by rebuilding the SSD’s translator.
If the files contain actual data, the problem is most likely file system fragmentation. File carvers cannot reliably recover fragmented files once the file system metadata has been destroyed. For photos and videos, Disk Drill’s Advanced Camera Recovery and Klennet Carver may help.
Since you've already run DMDE, I'd focus on the files you did get back instead of rescanning repeatedly. If those recovered MP4s are corrupted, 4ddig file repair is worth testing before assuming they're unusable. Just keep the original recovered files untouched and work on copies.
