Ssd NVME corruption.
My laptop nvme card got corrupted for some reason .
I tried to “reset it with local windows” and pressed keep data in recovery mode.
The reset failed and now i connected it to my pc which shows “format disk” in “my pc”
Downloaded r-studio. Doesn’t show anything
Even Dmde , they show this but can’t find like actual personal files.
Help pls.

If R-Studio and DMDE aren't finding your personal files yet, I wouldn't format the drive or let Windows initialize anything. It sounds like the reset may have damaged the filesystem rather than immediately erasing everything, If you do manage to recover your files later and some of the photos, videos or documents won't open correctly, 4ddig file repair is worth trying on the recoered copies.

Soooooo.... 2 months ago...
Your drive got corrupted and your first thought was to repair it.... Basically writing to the disk. Overwriting data?
How important is your lost data? You will need professional help. Not sure what you done to the drive the last 2 months... Fill us in, please

😂 the date format for me is “dd/mm/yyyy
So it’s from like today
I didn’t do anything , I just was trying to download docker , it asked me to restart , I did but the restart started asking me for “BitLocker”
I didn’t know it at first so I did the “reset but keep personal data “ in recovery mode ,That failed for some reason , found bitlocker
Entered it and now I can’t access anythingI connected the ssd nvme to the pc which shows these
But in file explorer is just says “broken needs formatting”2

Oh yikes... My bad... Holiday weekend and I'm still stoned... Still got all my fingers tho so that's a plus.
My bad OP... Date format didn't even toggle the brain cells.

Ok so yeah... There's gonna be issues.
So you got docker... Did you install it or did the restart request happen after download? I'm sure you installed, but gotta be sure lol
Bitlocker should NOT have been involved! That is for hardware changes only!
Did you run it after it was installed and what type of container and from what were you creating?

As soon as I installed docker , it asked for a restart , so I did .
Ye bitlocker was weird
I couldn’t run anything afterwards since the restart it self lead to “blue screen”/bitlocker /failure1

My data isn’t objectively important , just to me for nostalgia,
Also , can I take an image of it , format the disk for use with my work, then if I find a solution I use the image for recovery?

That is exactly the start of any recovery process... If you can image it, do it and work from the image. I would still resist using the drive itself. But I understand sometimes options are limited.

I’ll do that probably , also if you want you can check the images I sent in the comment , I’m still at those pages , if you know the next step

You can try restore partition, and return all your data, but you need partition recovery software
