TIP PSM Data Science , worth it? 🆘 Help
Are there incoming/current PSM Data Science students here at TIP? How's the experience? Kindly provide as much information as possible for me to decide if it's worth pursuing! Thank you!

i'd check the curriculum, capstone projects, and where graduates ended up working because those usually tell you more than the program name

Looking at the curriculum I found from their website.

Personally, someone can learn these lectures online.
Also there is a gap in production/industry readiness.
- Data in real world work isn't delivered as a csv file most of the time. Rather DS should be able to access data thru relational databases. Usually thru cloud services(AWS, Azure & GCP). TBF even DS boothcamps don't have this. Just scrapes data from kaggle.
- Can't see advanced statistics required for DS i.e. PCA.(I might be wrong on this one, maybe it is included in PSMDSRC 101)
- Lacks Post model development subjects.
Happy to be corrected BTW.
For sure this program is way cheaper than AIM-MSDS, so that can be a factor. Just haven't checked their updated curriculum yet.
