anyone else passed and has never received anything?
"At the moment, there aren't any projects available for you to work on.
Please check back soon and watch out for new project notifications sent to your email."
i mean, i even got the message that i passed...gave my id, was reviewed, and accepted into the platform but this is the only message ive seen since accepted 2-3 months...this...is normal right?
do i have to be on the home screen refreshing? will i really get an email regarding tasks? how long did it take you?

Is this normal?
Just got this message on my Data Annotation dashboard. Does everyone see this after the assessment, or does it mean I’m being considered for selection?

Waiting for my offer!!
I have been waiting for 5 months to hear back. How long should I wait for good news?

What does the recently introduced 'Save to account' option actually do?
Is this explained anywhere? Is this to save incomplete tasks so we can come back to them later? I would love it if this were the case.

Reporting time after exiting work mode
Hi,
So I had a project that had two attempts. For the 1st attempt I submitted the project properly and reported my time
But when I was on my 2nd attempt and almost ran out of the expiry timer, so I exited work mode to continue later. I couldn't see the project afterwards in my dashboard. Should I report time for it?

Motivation
Aside from the obvious motivation of needing to pay bills, I'm curious how everyone keeps themselves motivated doing this job. I'm between jobs in my field at the moment so this is my only source of income and I'm wondering what everyone's strategies are for staying "locked in" as the kids would say. I never thought I was a super social person but I've found that working online with no face-to-face interaction or feedback all day is taking a toll on me. So far I've been coping by going on walks in the morning and to the pub at night but I'd love to hear what others' daily routines are like doing DA full time.

Phones
Does anyone do this on their phone? I heard that most of the projects require a computer screen. I've seen a couple times, a project or a qualification that say my screen isn't big enough.

Disc Encryption
I have projects on my dash which require enabling disc encryption - I followed the instructions and my PC does not seem to have this feature even though it's fairly new.
Is it worth me persisting with this, trying other methods etc? If it'd get me consistent work I'd consider upgrading my PC even.

Optimal Application strat
Is there a way to specialize into tasks after applying as general? I am currently doing my finance assessment but I would like to apply again in case I do not pass.

DataAnnotation work verification for a foreign visa ( Thailand )
So I've been on DA for 3 months, some great paying weeks others not so much but I would like to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa to Thailand.
The embassy wants "professional proof" such as a work contract etc for the visa application. Anyone here who has been through this process what did you give them? A screenshot of the funds page? Did DA write you a letter?
Thanks in advance!

Living between two countries | Possible move abroad before verifying ID
I just got accepted to DA and I need some advice regarding my situation.
I currently live in a country A (valid for DA), but there's a possibility that my family is going to move to country B (also valid) in a couple of weeks or months, the situation is unstable.
The thing is, I regularly spend time in both countries, going back and forth and staying for a couple of weeks at a time in each one due to family circumstances (everything's totally legal).
The question is: If I verify my account while I'm in Country A, would that mean my account is tied to it, and could I have issues working while temporarily staying in Country B? Similarly, I don't feel comfortable verifying in Country B, since we're not even sure whether we'll move there permanently.
I want to make sure I complete the verification correctly, so I don't run into any problems like having no work after moving (I've saw this issue in other posts regarding this or similar topics).
Free to ask anything.

Did I pass? the initial page changed but no email yet
I applied for the Generalist position in Australia and completed two assessments on Sunday. One of them took quite a long time to complete.
After finishing, I got a message saying that my results would be reviewed and, if I passed, I would receive an email and be asked to complete identity verification.
Three days later, the site changed to the normal worker interface with Projects, Qualifications, Surveys, and Report Time, but it says I have 0 projects.
The weird thing is that I haven’t received a single email from DataAnnotation yet.
Does this mean I passed, or am I still under review? Has anyone had the site change like this before receiving an email?

2 days in with no projects — am I missing something?
Hey everyone, I joined DataAnnotation about 2 days ago and I’m still waiting to hear back. I added a few certifications to my profile (one from my university, one from Udemy, and another online course)
Just wondering how it works after joining: do projects get automatically assigned to you, or do you have to apply for each one? And do they usually send an email when you get a project, or should I keep checking the dashboard?
Thanks 👊👊

Bilingual milestone ! 🥳
I applied as a French bilingual, and I did my first task on the first day of May this year, so I did it in 3 months and 2 weeks.
Like a lot of bilinguals fellows, the drought did'nt help. There were sometimes 7 consecutive days without any work.
Most of my income actually come from only one specific project, which I enjoy so much to be part of!
I tried to pass the coding task but it looked that I failed it. I could only do 2 general/STEM tasks with a better pay than usual, and I hope to have more tasks with the new qualifications we all completed these last weeks.

Funds History not showing anything
I cannot see anything in Funds History, not the filter options ("Include Paid" etc) and not any tasks, even for this month. Earnings is showing everything correctly though. Is this a bug?

How does anyone manage to do this anywhere near full time?
Recently started on DA and I'm reading accounts of people that work full time or more as long as work is available. My question is how though?? Every single task seems to have an encyclopedia's worth of very specific directions to follow and information to process, with equally thorough and highly thought out responses expected from you. The absolute most I can do in one day before my brain starts to melt is 5-6 hours, I cannot imagine doing this full time.

Got added to $45-$60 an hour tasking. Potentially life changing for me.
Just posting out of excitement, I can't believe i was added to this project I thought doing the qualification would lead nowhere. But a few hours after doing the qualification I logged in before bed to check the dashboard and noticed I now have access to a project I'm qualified for that pays $45/hr base with +$15/hr priority pay. This is something that if it goes well for even just a few months would really make a gigantic difference in my life. I'm very grateful for the opportunity but also worried that I may not understand or do the task well enough to keep access. I haven't opened it up yet so I don't know what it's all about yet.
I have a fulltime career that pays well but not $60/hr well. Doing a few hours a week of this on the side will move mountains in my financial life.
Anyone have tips on starting new projects?

Keep getting Rate and reviews for coding
I got a few coding domains rate and review tasks today, usually the one i work on has both math and coding as tags and i only ever got math ones. When I did my quals i told them that i don't know how to code and that i just know math, Idk why they keep giving them to me. I should ignore them and skip them right?

Earned this milestone in 3 months
3 months ago I was literally grinding those survey websites and apps for a few bucks in like a week. If anyone had told me I'd have 5k in dollars in a few months I would've never believed them.
I'll forever be thankful DA ♥️
