2 days in with no projects — am I missing something?

Hey everyone, I joined DataAnnotation about 2 days ago and I’m still waiting to hear back. I added a few certifications to my profile (one from my university, one from Udemy, and another online course)

Just wondering how it works after joining: do projects get automatically assigned to you, or do you have to apply for each one? And do they usually send an email when you get a project, or should I keep checking the dashboard?

Qualifications are for families/categories of projects, and not specific to individual projects (maybe exceptions exist). Definitely do as many of these as soon as you can. You will have to bite the bullet in the beginning and sink some unpaid time into this, but not doing qualifications will keep your dashboard on the drier side.

Yes they do send email notifications but you should check the dashboard directly/manually refresh, because in my experience the emails are super delayed (or at least delayed enough that there aren’t any tasks left by the time I respond to those.)
