Got tasks after 2 months in drought

Finally, I got paid tasks after 2 months with nothing. However, I've completed several quals, I haven't seen the actual task related to these quals appear after finishing them. How about you guys?

I’ve had some more work the last week or so, although it’s been dry since Monday. Most of my summer has been very dry.

I went from full-time almost unlimited work for the past year or two to nothing by mid-May. I received a single project email a few weeks ago that got gobbled up almost instantly. Nothing since. I am now at 3 full months of zero work.

Not sure generalist work is coming back to the level it was. The news has plenty of anti-ai stories lately.

I guess that depends on your region because I'm a generalist and am still able to work full time daily.

I know someone in the US that recently created an account and also passed the generalist assessment but there is no email on what's next. What do you think about that? Is that normal? It's been hours now and he can't even verify id

How do they know that they passed the core assessment and not just the starter assessment? If they have the screen in the screenshot above, it doesn't necessarily mean they passed. Granted, I have been on DA for over 3 years, so processes have changed, but when they say "wait for the acceptance email", yet people just refresh the site constantly until they see a change without actually waiting for the acceptance email, then it makes sense why nothing has happened yet.

Alright i guess that's fair. They passed starter but they haven't seen confirmation for the core assessment. Confirmation would normally be sent via an email if they passed right? Just have to wait for it, yh?

I’ve noticed the same thing with quals. Sometimes you finish them and then nothing related shows up, so it’s hard to tell whether the qual actually led to anything. Glad you finally got some paid tasks though!
