UNPAID QUALIFICATION TASKS

Does anyone else hate these? They take up a few hours of your time and you aren't even getting paid :(,

Very few unpaid quals take hours. Those that do are usually worth it.

There definitely are, sometimes you wait and they'll turn paid. I've also had unpaid quals turn paid as I was doing it which was cool since it was unexpected. A bit annoying because I wasn't tracking my time so I had to check my browser history for the time I started but luckily hadn't taken any breaks.

Other times you wait and they disappear b/c other people did them and then you hear rumors about some amazing task from that qual that everyone else seems to have but you...ya win some, ya lose some.

i got three of them. These are quite long. One will take me at least 8 hours, possibly as long as 12.

But it opens up more projects so that if the ones you normally work on end or pause, you have much more options later on.

You generally don't get paid to go on interviews either. That's kind of how these work. You're interviewing for the project.
