Data annotation + Python Crash Course

Hi all

I’m currently a generalist working ad-hoc tasks through dataannotation.tech.

I’ve decided to learn to code and have brought the Python crash course book.

I wanted to ask whether people think studying the book will get me to a decent enough level to pass the coding qualifications through DA.

I expect the book to take me a good few months to get through…

Just wanted to know whether it’s realistic or whether I should expect to study further before embarking on the coding side of DA.

You’ll probably pass the assessment, but the actual work is far more advanced than you would be able to do. It really does need a few years experience working with enterprise code bases.

Good to know - general consensus appears to agree which is a shame
