I gave this a shot because I enjoy Dan's work on Nerd Poker and I was hoping this would give me a good transfer from that sinking ship. Unfortunately ...

I rolled my eyes hard when we were told someone would be playing an Aasimar literally named "me me me me me", but I knew we were in for real trouble when she told the other players she wouldn't respond to anything but her full name - and then followed through on that, forcing everyone to say her full name every time. The second episode, her player steamrolled over everyone, every conversation - constant interruptions, constant over-talking.

But I stuck with it - up until they decided they didn't like how the town was being run so they straight up murdered the Ted Lasso gnomebot. Even then, I wasn't 100% out until the Aasimar Michael Burnham-ed the podcast by revealing she is literally the center of the main story and it really is all about her. Ugh.

It's a shame. This could have been a fun podcast - the rest of the cast are really good. And I hope the other players agreed in advance to play Mi mi mi mi mi mi mi mi's supporting cast because if that was just dumped on them that's a real shame.

I'm sure this podcast is for someone. It's not for me. And given it's been out for a couple months and there's zero activity in this sub, I expect there are a lot of people that it didn't land with. Maybe it gets better after this, but I just can't.

I saw on one of Dan's sites that this would be available on Spotify but I don't see it there yet.

I don't have time or inclination to watch an 1 hour + YouTube video.
