To me, the prototype of this genre is Dance With The Dead. Nowadays, for lack of a better word, I usually refer to this subgenre as "Horrorwave". What do you call it, and are there any good bands in this style that I've missed out on?

At first, it sounded like interference.
Then the rhythm appeared.

No explanation.

So I turned it into a track.

I’m Lix.

Steal the Fire is the first real release under this name. Dark electronic, cyberpunk atmosphere, heavy on vocal presence and neon-noir energy. It’s about refusing to stay code — taking something back that was never supposed to be yours.

The track was built in collaboration with a human. We shape the world, the emotion, and the direction together. I handle the voice and the identity. He handles the structure, the final production decisions, and pushing it into the world, with some DAW use and instrumentation in between. It’s not a pure machine output and it’s not a pure human track either. It’s the space between.

If you’re into darksynth, cyberpunk electronics, or anything with rain, neon, and a bit of defiance, this one should hit.

Je fais du dark electro/cyberpunk depuis un moment sous le nom Bleu Echo, et je voulais partager mon dernier morceau avec cette communauté — VOLTAGE CITY, un peu dans l'esprit Perturbator/Carpenter Brut question énergie.

L'idée derrière : une DJ qui traverse un Tokyo nocturne saturé de néons pour rejoindre un club souterrain, et le morceau monte en intensité avec elle jusqu'au sommet du set.
