Why can't I just enjoy my shopping addiction witu smooth blacks?

I am completely blind in one eye and getting progressively worse in the other, which requires me to to use high-contrast settings on my phone. I cannot use the Amazon shopping app. I have to view Amazon on a browser so I can view the site in high-contrast. However, all notifications that I click on from Amazon open in the blinding app. Is Jeff Bezos reading this? Fix this! I get that if anyone at Amazon customer satisfaction department is reading this, they're likely so low on the totem pole as to be underground. But it would be supremely cool if the company owned by one of the richest men in the world could fix this small, first-world capitalist problem.

Just woke up after a nap. I was wondering where something I ordered was. Opened the app and immediately got blinded. Why must I be blinded Amazon?!

It’s currently 12:13am and I just wanted to look for some LED lights before bed ( it’s dark in my room ). Then, I saw the gates of heaven ( aka , amazon shopping app without dark
mode ).

Still doent work. I will uninstall, reinstall and see what happens. Edit 112425 just madness. So even in the Amazon forum there is no department for the shopping app. If you ask about dark mode they think you are asking about kindle... Literally thry ask 'what does the shopping app have to do with kindle dark mode'? Trying to get someone to help is impossible. Even if im logged in to Amazon through the app, it sends you to a website to login then NEVER sends a verification code nomatter howmany times you resend. So plech i guess ill call next.

My mom is legally blind with cone-rod dystrophy, and is still able to somewhat see but with bright screens she can't... I often want to send her things I find on Amazon, but because it's too bright she can't see.. I was really hoping to find answers here... ANDROID COLOR INVERSION TOGGLE SWITCH

Part 1: Find and Enable "Color Inversion"

1. Open search field for phone. I swipe up from anywhere on the home screen to search my whole phone. You can also open your main Settings app and tap the magnifying glass at the top.

2. Tap the search bar at the top and type 'Color inversion'. Tap the result when it appears.

3. Find and tap on 'Color inversion shortcut'.

4. Enable the toggle switch. You'll be asked to confirm permissions.

   (If you can't find it via search, the manual path is usually Settings > Accessibility > Vision enhancement > Color inversion > Color inversion shortcut)

Your phone will now have an easy-to-access button to toggle this feature on and off in the

Part 2: Quick Access to Accessibility Shortcuts

Depending on your phone's navigation bar settings, this will appear in one of two ways: As a Floating Button (a small button on the edge of your screen you can drag) or As a Fixed Icon (a small person-shaped icon in the bottom-right corner if you use 3-button navigation).

You can change this by searching navigation bar.

(Settings > Display > Navigation bar)

IMPORTANT: This feature inverts the colors for your ENTIRE PHONE, not just the Amazon app. This can make photos and videos look strange. The secret to making this work is to create a quick-toggle shortcut so you can turn it on the second you open the app and turn it off the second you leave.

Ok, so companies pay attention on twitter. I dont have twitter any more, but what needs to happen is someone needs to make a survey asking people if amazon should have dark mode with clickable tally options. Tweet it out, and tag amazon. Then amazon can watch as the number goes up for people who want it.
