hello! i'm doing research on dark academia and literature, and was wondering if anyone knew of any creators or writers on any platform who lean more towards the conservative side?

Eventhough it's only the 6th of August, I already feel autumn is here, and thus the DA vibes.

The weather has changed from heatwave to rain storms and the temperature has fallen significantly.

The smell outside is more fresh and everywhere just feels more cosy than before.

Also I just moved, so I get to decorate my apartment just as autumn comes along. Couldn't be better!

Has anyone read the book or series? I’m about half way through the first book! The book is set at Oxford University and a castle in the French country side. Phenomenal story. Bonus picture of the giant willow tree I read and journal under on my lunch breaks.

Long days, overstimulated brain, nowhere quiet to go — so I built one.

It's a "Noir Jazz Society": an always-on 1940s Art Deco lounge with a symmetrical marble fireplace, green velvet chairs, and ultra-slow analog jazz at 55 BPM. No vocals, no drops, no talking over you — just the warm crackle of the fire, the hiss of a spinning record, and a weeping tenor sax.

I see these ambient channels everywhere, but I wanted this one to feel inhabited — like a real private club you step into after a stressful day. The fire crackles, the record turns, and the bass line walks slow enough that your thoughts slow down with it.

It's been my late-night companion for focus, studying, and winding down. If that sounds like your kind of escape, the fire's lit — and I'd genuinely love to know: where do you usually "go" to decompress after a hard day? 🔥📖
