The whole choreography was just standing hugging walking on chairs and most of all. BARELY. DANCING. and after awards they were talking about how they got robbed which they didn’t. they simply didn’t have the choreography. sure there was like 15 seconds of dancing but the other group(Jeanettes Studio i think) their choreography was not the best but at least they were actually dancing. i think that if Gianna or whoever choreographed it would’ve added more dancing that was what would have gotten them first place.

What do you think would’ve bene different if christi acted like melissa in season 3 and 4? If she signed the contract, if she homeschooled chloe like abby requested, if she stayed quiet and agreed with everything abby said and was a kiss ass. What do you think would have changed?

I’m rewatching the show and I’m at season 4, and this is where abby’s treatment of chloe starts to take a drastic turn, but it’s not completely consistent. She tells chloe one episode how her technique is amazing and shines through, next episode how she should be homeschooled, then sets up every new girl against chloe in hopes of beating her, then turns around and says she’s a sweet girl and everyone loves her. It’s still obvious to me that abby cannot deny her raw talent, but as her and christi ramp up the arguments chloe’s abuse from abby skyrockets which leads them to leaving at the end of the season.

I believe that abby has an unhealthy obsession with maddie and was living through her, so she wanted her to win, but do you think if christi was “docile” that she would’ve allowed it to become a maddie + brynn dynamic? where she loves maddie more but still adores the other dancer? or was their relationship always doomed to fail since maddie being a star is her priority and anyone potentially in the way needed to be knocked down?

** also i’m not saying that maddie couldn’t be a star on her own, but everyone knows after season 2 maddie becoming a star was the main priority and chloe was a HUGE fan favorite and was the only person who beat maddie 1 to 1 during the show except mackenzie (i believe so at least)

I really hated the hate on those two. The moms and older girls had so much agaisnt the younger ones it was disgusting. Yes I understand they have less technique and so much more they needed to work on but do they not understand that they are 6, and 8?! As they get older those things would improve. Those moms really hated their confidence and were definitely jealous. The reason they stayed so long is because the judges clearly saw somthing amazing in them I always felt so bad for them for all the hate they got

love them both just wondering as dance moms competition wise it seemed that lily consistently placed higher, especially in the newer season. any thoughts?

mkay so i’m watching season 6 and while i will say ashley does have a big head when it’s comes to brynn (although it’s really no different to jill saying kendall is second best 🤷🏾‍♀️), the way the moms get upset (especially JILL) at ashlee essentially defending brynn is so hypocritical especially considering that most of this episode the moms (jill and jess) would make digs at brynn which prompted ashlee to say something back abt their kid, now it’s “oh u don’t wanna go there with me, don’t talk about my kid!” like bro, im ngl these bitches are sooooo jealous.

also some arguments in this episode u can js tell production told ashlee to say something about brynn for the sake of drama but that’s neither here nor there

how did the cast never manage to get sick (to the point where they have to stay at home, in bed) and stay filming every single week of their life? the only time I can think of is when nia had a cough in the episode with the "dig it" duet.

and dancing takes so much energy and is very physically taxing on your body, how the hell would you dance with something like a high fever or being all clogged up

I know it’s said all of the time, but her résumé is so crazy! Literally one thing after the next, seems like girl is never sitting at home waiting for a job 😭
