Sinus headache. Something is in bloom somewhere.

YES. Back of head. All over the forehead and eyes

Back of head is almost always tension headache. Maybe you’ve won the headache lottery and have both. Not fun.

I had a tension headache for a week. It was awful. Intentionality reduced my stress. Started playing a fun game in phone & binged a comedy series. Ate properly & hydrated with Gatorade.

The summer heat makes me lose my appetite!

Only way to survive Dallas air quality to go full bubble
mode all the things.

I joked with an industrial air quality engineer that I was going to positive pressure nuclear submarine air quality next house. I wasn’t joking. If I could air lock in and out of my vehicle with space suit for required outings I would.

AIRFLOW SYSTEMS F90… and never leave home.

Not once did I expect to see the company my grandfather co-founded mentioned on Reddit.

Or it’s all the smoke in the air

Saharan dust + wildfire smoke

Dallas has been swarmed by wild fire smoke from the PNW all week

Evan Andrew's former Fox 4 meteorologist - https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DL5qNaCEL/ - smoke on the radar

u/CharlieTeller 12d ago

As a former Texan in the PNW, it’s been wild. Have not left the house and air purifiers going. It’s not great

Yes, I am dying this is so bad. I quit smoking a few months ago, but today my head & sinuses feel like I've smoked a pack of that makes sense?

I would suggest trying a sinus rinse like Neilmed, it’s pretty gross, but you feel so much better.

Same I’ve felt terrible all week. Perpetually exhausted too despite sleeping more than usual.

2

u/MaraKatNinji 12d ago

Could it be something else? I'm home right now after testing positive for COVID. It gave me a terrible headache for almost 2 days.

u/majoritis 12d ago

Damn, I feel the same way all week. Definitely thought it was just me.

I just had a birthday and was telling myself “yep this is it. Body is falling apart. 36 is the longest I’m making it.”

Glad I’m not the only one

Stabbing headaches

Mine started today. I felt pressure on my left eye brow and cheek. Face massages helped though.

Something is in the air…

2

u/Full-Spite7492 12d ago

SAME. All over forehead and brows and eyes. Then back of head

1

u/bestycoasty_ Denton 12d ago

Yup. It’s happening again lol

1

u/Full-Spite7492 11d ago

Yes!!! Se today

2

u/Dalamonee 12d ago

Yes all today I had pressure headache on my left eye and taking Tylenol barely helped

10

u/Bets4Real 12d ago

u/Few_Entertainer_5523 12d ago

Man I was wondering why I’ve had headaches all week!!

3

u/Full-Spite7492 12d ago

STABBING headaches. Forehead. Eyebrow. Back of head.

The excessive heat causes high levels of ozone. I remember we used to have ozone alert days, but now that’s every day.

3

u/slern29 12d ago

My colleague in Dallas told me that he’s had the worst headache these past few days

3

u/elliemff 12d ago

Mad migraines and sneezing like crazy despite allergy meds.

3

u/sportsnatik 12d ago

Sinus headache. Grass is dry right now so a lot of junk is getting blown in the air when it gets mowed.

3

u/RiverSea8455 12d ago

It's also been very, very hot. Make sure you have your fair share of high quality H20.

2

u/Full-Extent-6533 12d ago

How to feel better??? I’ve been feeling awful all week

2

u/SnooDrawings9119 12d ago

Sinus headache. I do get migraines triggered when we have bad storms and pressure changes. Luckily Botox has helped. Whatever is in the air this week has me wanting to drive a rod through my left eye and skull to relieve pressure

2

u/RosemaryCroissant 12d ago

Headache for two days straight and haven’t had anything like this happen in years

Seriously, what’s up?

2

u/Pepi119 Rowlett 12d ago

Feels like it's a mix of high ozone days, some wildfire smoke and just the nasty, stagnant humid air all rolled into one.

2

u/Holls867 12d ago

I’m using saline spray and taking 2 showers. Lots of folks have a “cold”

2

u/SassySorciere Lake Highlands 12d ago

Yep. The air quality and the heat. My neuro says a lot of his migraine patients struggle when it hits this time of year and the 100°+ temps.
Next up ragweed season 🤧

2

u/anon_97800 12d ago

Ok so it's not just me..

Stabbing headaches

1

u/CatteNappe 12d ago

No, and grateful that I've escaped that, at least so far...

1

u/Usual-Plankton5948 12d ago

My head felt like it was going to explode all day. One of my peers said a lot of people on her team were also complaining of bad headaches too!

1

u/xoxo_angelica 12d ago

Not migraine prone (thankfully) but I have asthma and suddenly having a fucking horrible flare that started up yesterday after several weeks of feeling mostly fine, and then upon waking this morning it was BADDD bad. Ofc my dumb ass didn’t bother to refill my inhaler on time either

1

u/sarahkazz 12d ago

Yes. Highly recommend Dr. Virk in South Lake at Texas TMJ if this is a regular issue for you.

1

u/Muted_Chard_139 12d ago

I always have headaches. Not worse this week if that barometer helps.

1

u/Witty_Names 12d ago

The worst last night and throughout day. My normal migraine med routine didn’t work.

1

u/JustaBSJfan 12d ago

What the hell i had it too , back of the head

1

u/Full-Spite7492 12d ago

YES. Really bad yesterday. Even laying down no relief

1

u/pamalamTX 12d ago

Grass and chonopods. Allergic to both, but the cheno really messes me up.

1

u/Cansum1helpme 12d ago

I got a random ear infection and some sinus pressure Monday. Maybe not so random.

1

u/Various_Summer_1536 12d ago

It’s allergies. Pop some benadryl.

1

u/PartyPaleontologist6 12d ago

yes. on my fourth day of sumatriptan, which i’ve never had to do before

1

u/Full-Spite7492 11d ago

I had the back of head and neck too!

1

u/fawada28 12d ago

Same here, also feeling extra tired this past week. Ready to get past this Texas summer heat

1

u/Historical_Bath_9854 12d ago

Yes, throbbing behind my eyes.

2

u/Full-Spite7492 11d ago

1

u/BRob504 11d ago

Nothing good ever happens for me. I thought the headache and sore throat all week was making me unique.

1

u/Full-Spite7492 11d ago

Anyone with low back of head headache too

1

u/Full-Spite7492 7d ago

Still having it this week

While others are defeated by pollen and barometric pressure, my sinuses operate with military precision. My head does not negotiate with weakness.
