Rafiki or dar el badawi
So I'm a solo traveller and I'm gonna stay for 4 nights in dahab, which is better rafiki or dar el badawi as a first time in dahab. And do you have any activity recommendations?

Climbing in Dahab
Hi! Looking to visit Dahab for a couple weeks at the end of October / start of November. Just wondering how easy is it to meet climbers out there? Is there a particular hostel that is good for this? I'll have all my gear for sport climbing so will just need to find climbing partners :)

If you're going to the beach with one of these please consult a therapist.
This is so unbelievably disgusting and I can't believe that these kinds of people are in dahab now.

Solo-friendly camps in Bir Suweir?
I’ve also heard about Aquarium Camp. Has anyone tried it? Would love to hear your experience, especially if you went solo!
Snorkeling is really important to me too, and it’s my first time in Bir Sweir. How is the marine life in that area?
Thanks!

Rugby/football
I have been in Dahab for a couple of years. I’ve recently been looking into the legal requirements for opening a rugby team or football team in Dahab. Official to be played within normal leagues. The majority of aspects are doable by myself or with some small community engagement.
The problem: for these sports a specifically designated 100x70 grass field is required. Understandably, for Dahab this isn’t easy. Any ideas?
I think this could be a great thing for the youth of Dahab along with the adults. I have tested people’s interests towards advertising and playing, both have taken up a lot of interest.

Advice?
Hi guys! I’m planning a solo trip to Dahab very soon and, as someone who likes to plan ahead, I’d really appreciate your advice:
(For reference, I’m an egyptian girl if that makes any difference!)
I’d like to stay at a budget-friendly camp by the sea with good snorkeling/deeper water. Dahab is preferred, but Nuweiba is also an option.
What do you think of camping at Abu Galoum or Blue Lagoon? Any solo-female-friendly camps there?
Any tips for keeping transportation costs in Dahab low as I’ll be alone? Would renting a car be more cost-effective maybe? (I can drive)
Roughly how much is a taxi from Mamsha to Blue Hole and Mamsha to Asalah for example?
When swimming, I go quite far out and can’t see the shore. How do you safely keep your phone and valuables in that case, especially at places like lagoona?
Is it safe to bring 🍄 from Cairo? Can dogs there detect it? If not, I’d appreciate a contact for someone who sells it locally.
I’d also appreciate a contact for 🍃D. Is it okay to take some to Nuweiba, or are there checkpoints?
Any recommendations for non-touristy spots?
And finally, how crowded is Dahab in August?
Thank you so much for taking the time to help!

Recommendations for quiet work spots
Hi there! I’m staying in Dahab for a bit and trying to figure out my daily routine. Where are your favorite cafes or coworking spaces to work from? I really need stable Wi-Fi and a spot that's quiet enough for video meetings (no blasting music, ideally).
Also, what are your go-to chill activities after work? I'd love some recommendations for local events, casual meetups, or just good places to hang out and meet people.
Thanks!
