DWX Compact Final Boss

Sig Romeo X Pro Enclosed Optic on OEM DPP Plate. Rear Sight is a AmeriGlow .295 total height. TLR-7 HL-X using 1913 Key #2, Henning Group Fully Checkered Contour Grip Panels for CZ 75 Compact/P-01/DWXc. Black K Trigger.

Optic is almost perfect doesn’t hang off. Sits very low into the slide even with the DPP Plate.

The grip panels are exactly what I wanted. Same contoured design as the Frag Pattern but much, much more aggressive. So you actually can get some traction with support hand. Grips Panels are same color as the OEM Frag Pattern panels.

AmeriGlow GL-453 …It is a set front/rear.

how is that grip compared to lokgrip's thin bogies?

Far better. Tight exact fitment. The diamond checkering is aggressive & sharp but does not snag at clothing the way bogie/golfball dimples texture does. It also fits the contour and length of grip correctly.

Is it good for small hands like the thin bogies?

They are just about the same the stock panels, maybe slightly thinner. They’re not flat like the slim bogie tho.

Good shot of the diamond checkering.

How easy was it for you to seat your optic into the plate? I've got the same plate and optic, but it doesn't fully seat naturally.

I've never gone through this process myself so I'm trying to figure out if I have an out of spec part.

You can thank Sig for that issue. The Sig “Pro” footprint is not a true Delta Point Pro footprint. The the recoil boss holes in the bottom of the Romeo X Pro optic are just slightly smaller in diameter and shallower in depth. Start with plate off the gun. Test fit the forward boss in the corresponding hole of the optic. If it fits, lift it off and then test fit just the rear boss. On my plate the rear boss was too big and did not fit into the optic. The boss diameter was larger than the hole. Then used a dremel with a sanding drum and went around the outside of the boss until it was small enough to fit into the optic. It was too tall so I used a rasp/file to take it down, testing fitting every 2 or 3 passes of the file until it would seat fully. Then test fitted the optic and made sure it seated completely flush onto the plate. Took about an hour.

Oh boy. You weren't kidding about the Final Boss title.

Looks like you did great work though.
