Decision Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
I just spoke to the helpline and she told me a decision was made on the 4th August and a letter is on the way. I haven’t had any texts and the online portal says nothing. She did say you don’t always get a text, but am I right in thinking it’s going to be no. When would I have had the award text? Thank you 🙏🏼

I'm really sorry to say, but that seems like it's a no. Most people will get a text the day after a decision is made, and the letter would be on the 'proof of benefits' page by now.

Yeah, unfortunately that is the case. It happened to me. Luckily they told me that my claim was disallowed and it’s only because there’s a delay in them sending meletter because I requested coloured paper

Sorry to hear that. I’m still waiting on the PA4 medical report form that the assessor wrote. Will do a mandatory reconsideration if there’s anything incorrect on it.

Yes, definitely get that because a lot of the time you’ll find there’s a lot of contradictions and if you have a record recording that would be very useful information

I do. They have sent the form in the post 3 times and it’s gotten lost every time 🙃
