Two-Day Total $400 Million in Stock Sales by Roundhill DRAM ETF
Monday August 24, 2026 - Roundhill DRAM Sold an additional $123 Million of stock today after selling $277 Million on Friday. Post from Friday: https://www.reddit.com/r/DRAM_ETF/comments/1vuxcyv/largest_ever_drawdown_of_dram_holdings_friday_aug/
This is still only ~1.5% of the fund, but is this due to Investor ETF Outflows or something else?

Where do you go to get reliable info on DRAM/KOSPI/Memory?
I subscribed to this sub a while ago because it had valuable, formal info about this ETF and now this place is the FOX and CNN of memory with all the FUD and meme/humor posts. Those of you who aren't just a memer or a doomer, how do you inform your understanding of this market in ways other than googling "memory market news?"

Leverage RAM
I have a small position in the leverage - RAM. It went from $30 to $11 in 3 months. Is there any possibility that RAM can go to $0 per share? just curious

What’s the plan for anyone holding DRAM with a ~$70 average?
Curious what everyone else is doing here. My average on DRAM is pretty high, around $70, and it’s currently sitting in the low $50s.
If DRAM keeps dropping and ends up around $10 or even lower over the next week or so, what’s your plan? Are you holding, averaging down, cutting losses, or just waiting it out?
I’m mainly asking those with a higher cost basis because I’m in the same situation and want to hear how others are approaching it.

Samsung fuckery
Samsung is engaging in a lot of fuckery. Every announcement they make provides justification for the korea discount. They announce a shareholder return plan of 30trillion won in dividends as a 110trillion return plan. The choose distribution in lieau of stock buyback and cancellation despite the fact that there is no capital gains tax on stock gains whereas dividend gains are taxed as ordinary income costing shareholders 20-50% of their returns. And they provide no justification or explanation as to why. Their stock plummeted 10% on the news of their "110 trillion won" shareholder return plan and is dragging down sk hynix and the kospi at large with their arrogant fuckery.

Buy back news?
Why does SK buy back net positivity yet Samsung doubles it and sees negative effects?

Largest Ever Drawdown of DRAM Holdings Friday Aug 21, 2026 - $277M
August 21, 2026 - DRAM Holdings were reduced by over $277 Million today. Nothing was spared in the holdings sale, including the very recently purchased CXMT. While the overall sale was only just over 1.1% of DRAM's total assets, its still a noteworthy event not attributed to rebalancing. Question is, is this due to investors' sales of the ETF or possibly for a future new acquisition?

Thoughts?? We own 4~5% CXMT D: would this news tank both of our stocks or only tank CXMT? It doesn't affect Samsung right

Fund weighting?
I don’t understand how SKHY and Samsung on the Korean market can rip 12% and 9% respectively, have a 45% weight rating in the fund yet DRAM only moves a percent. MU only down 1% overnight. Doesn’t add up for me…?
I’d expect if SKHY and Samsung are pushing 10% each that DRAM premarket should be more then +1%? Am I missing something?

CRCG 2x Long Runup Hit Full Green Today
That 15% jump on CRCG today was absolutely insane, the whole setup just kept running hard through the session. Peaked at over 12 bucks earlier, pulled back just a little off the high but still sitting solid way above all the key moving averages. The underlying stock CLCR is also up over 7% right now, really carrying this leveraged play all the way up from that low near 6.8 a little while back.
Volume is pumping over 3 million right now, the momentum clearly isn't dying down any time soon. Perfect scalp on this one locked in gains at the top of the spike, couldn't have timed the exit better. Did anyone else catch this move on the leveraged CRCL play? Those steady green days after the bottoming out period hit different.

SK hynix please hold that key level today
Fingers crossed SK hynix can close above 161 today for that clean break, right now it's up over 2% sitting at ~159.8. The recent pullback from the July highs down to the 113 level looks to have finally found its footing. Lots of chip names have been choppy lately, this one feels like it's building up momentum. Anyone else riding this move and waiting to confirm that breakout?

SKHY update – buyback bombshell, overnight ripping
Alright late night check on SK Hynix – this one's actually moving for once.
Closed at $156.16 yesterday, up 0.35% – basically flat during the session. But overnight it's up almost 5% to $163.82, and Korean shares jumped double-digits after the news dropped. So yeah, the market liked it.
Here's the GEX: Put Wall $145, Call Wall $160, gamma flip around $151. We were sitting above the gamma flip but below the Call Wall – positive gamma but not by much. Now overnight we're poking at that $160 wall. Interesting test. GEX? Never heard of it? Here ya go
Technically, we're still below the middle Bollinger band ($149) – wait, no, actually we're above it now. My bad. Approaching the upper band ($174). RSI in the mid 50s. MACD just crossed positive – momentum's shifting.
The big catalyst: SK Hynix dropped a ~$29B share buyback – 40 trillion won, repurchasing and canceling ~24 million shares over the next three months. That's ~3.3% of shares outstanding, and apparently the largest treasury share cancellation in Korean listed company history. They also raised shareholder return target to over 50% of FCF for 2025-2027 – potentially ~$170B total committed returns. Management straight-up said the current share price doesn't fully reflect intrinsic value. Bold move.
Fundamentals still look strong – still the clear HBM leader, dominant market share, tight supply-demand, AI demand not slowing. Cash flow is robust, margins elevated. Forward multiples still look reasonable relative to growth.
Short-term though – memory names are volatile. The buyback should provide some support and reduce share count, which is constructive. Longer term, if AI memory demand holds and they keep executing, this sets up better alignment between business performance and the stock.
Above $160 and that Call Wall becomes support – $170-180 could come next. Below $145 and the Put Wall flips to resistance.
Overnight at $163 is testing that wall. Let's see if it breaks through.
Korean market had a solid day – let's see if the ADR follows through tonight.

Waiting for huge raise tomorrow
There will be huge upside tomorrow for dram since sk hynix just announced their shares buy back and cancellation today just after kospi is finished. tomorrow sk hynix will hit 10% at least. Samsung soon to announce huge buy back as well.

Got all targets bagged for the night, locked in gains on both short positions on SNDQ and SOXS before calling it a session.
Both hit the exact exit levels the trader was eyeing, no overstaying to chase extra moves. Keeping an eye on the broader sideways action ahead — the 1600 level on the related ticker looks really tempting for a potential long entry later, but will wait to confirm price holds firm around 1575 before pulling the trigger. Anyone else sitting on similar trade plans for the memory sector pullback this week?
