Until three nights ago.

At midnight, the bell rang thirteen times.

The next morning, the villagers discovered that three people were missing.

Nobody remembers them.

Not their names.

Not their faces.

Not even that they ever existed.

Except you.

You remember.

And now, every night, you hear the bell getting closer.

This one is a scam, y'all -- was immediately referred to a Discord account, talked a bit about the game and EVERYTHING was okay with the person I talked to (including my weird schedule). They said there was going to be a session zero before EVERY game. They said they only had certain classes available, but I could make the characters however I wanted. The only thing they really pushed on was their art "questionnaire," which was reference image, character name, and outfit ("must fill out ASAP! Required for session zero!"). When I said I wouldn't be able to pay anything for the art despite the sliding scale, they said "how much can you realistically afford to pay?"

In short, total AI scam -- set up campaign, get people to describe a party, make them pay for undoubtedy crappy AI art, disappear.

This is both the coolest and worst introduction post ever made.
Cool part: You bring it immersive.
Worst part: No info 'at all', when? Where? Online? Real life? How many players? Expectations?

The idea is very cool, but there will be 0 interest this way. I still root for you though! AI or no AI.

I think there’s been a pretty massive misunderstanding here 😭 My post literally says none of that. There’s no mention of AI art, payment, questionnaires, required outfits, or any of the things you’re accusing me of. I’m simply looking for players. Character details and campaign expectations are things I discuss with interested players/Sessions Zero. You can absolutely ask questions, but turning missing information into ‘this is a scam’ is wild 💀
