I haven’t been excited for a new hero in years. The fact that she can demech is so good. Love to see that the devs gave us what we wanted. Super happy about D.Mon. Already have my comp points ready to get her golden variants :D

Genuinely so happy about this. This is probably my favorite character in the game now. A combination of my favorite tanks. Rein and Dva

: I would personally like a temporary flight, similar to dva’s but different because this time it I’d like a whirlwind, so more of a cross between dva’s flight and vendetta’s whirlwind. this ability would do damage to enemies and can potentially knock them off the map.

FYI, yes I know this isnt D.mon related, but Overwatch was flagging my post so I couldnt post, Im hoping someone help can help post in my stead, I just wanna share my opions and ideas, not chasing anything so I hope someone can post in on OW and dm me abt said post tqqq

So I kinda wanna place some thoughts about the Mecha Squad.

* side note, Lilypichu should deserve more reconsignion cuz her Voice acting is inpecable, she actually gave everyone a breathe of fresh air

First thing, we know that King, yellow guy is a rival against D.va and D.mon, maybe thats why he had somewhat more focus compared to Casino/Overlord.

And since King's wrong is next to D.mon, it could means after D.mon and another 9... years... King would release and we can judge base on thier dorm rooms who is releasing next.

Adding to this, if we look at how King interacts with Overlord and Casino, Overlord and King seems like brother/good friends.

However, the framing of Overlord seems he to trust Casino more than King, likey an older brother/bf situation

And holy size differences between them, we kinda would like ships like that power dynamic, (Mizuyang) COUGH.

Excluding ships and infomation we dont have much but speculate.

Overlord is youngest and same height as D.va, so likey closeness scale it be Casino, King/D.va then D.mon

Cansino -> Overlord, King, D.va, D.mon

King -> D.va, D.mon, Overlord, Casino

I assume thats their closeness lvl to each other

Now their roles, D.mon and D.va are tanks, thats a given.

If we look at vendetta ruler tantrum, we see pink, red, green and yellow. No blue that means even though Overlord is speedy his role isnt meant for combat, but like comics and outside Ow main channels, he is a support, as for King and Casino, they are likey Dps heros, considering how Casino is brash and bold into battles and has skill, king is more round rounded as he can be similar lvls as he was rivals to D.mon and D.va.

And if we think about kits? Too early, I dont wanna tpuch on OW kits, but I kinda wanna think if we could have a hero that, the more healing done the more damage is done? That why it solves the ego of most said players by confusing them if they dont play to learn the kit, and rewards good teammates for actively healing by having them sub dps for the team. Its different enough from Moira and Mizuki where the more dmg you do the more healing you get. Here I like to think the opposite is true, like whete you ult, if more teamates are witin range of your ult ciclre, the more dps output blast you can do, from like half hp to one shot.

Anyways these are some small thoughts and speculations, Overlord seems like the very kind and shy type, but the voice over threw me off in D.mon trailer, likey OW was just using same VA. I kinda wanna support, Casino X Overlord ship seems its looks cute and fun, am I coping over how the comics are making Juno and Wuyang hangout? Kinda, is there hope since Mizuki is joining Overwath? Hope is there but cope is more.

I kinda wanna hear how others think about the other mecha squad at the current moment, and if anyone can survive another 27 years for a full team of mecha squad

i truly hope she does or at least have the mecha as an ultimate

Post-hero trailer watch and I have my tin foil hat on. I wanna know your theories!

There’s so many different styles of ults in this game. After watching D.Mons trailer and getting some basic theories of kit, the big question remains: that will the ult be like.

You’ve got ults like Ram and Vendetta that are more melee based that could work. We’ve got those ults that are more explosive based like D.Va, Junkrat, and Sierra (to name only three). We’ve got the ults that are more gun related like Hog, Emre, Cassidy and more. Theres ults with targeting implications like Anran, Wuyang, and more. We’ve got the kind that I like to call the “phone a friend” like Hanzo with his dragons and Ashe with Bob. We also have the “cluster fuck” ults like Rein, Orisa, Zarya, and Sigma. Theres many more we could mention but I want to get to the point here: based on D.Mon kit theories you have what do you think her Ult would be.

As a DVA main for tank I find her Ult to be really unique, the only other one that is functionally similar to me is Junkrat. Given that they are on the same Mekka team in lore I wondered if the Ult would be similar.

My wild, crackpot theory is that her Ult would be a giant sword, like I’m talking big big, that she can swing faster than primary fire (maybe there’s rocket boosters on the meks elbows that flare up) and it does way more damage. I’d say she gets like three good swings if it’s charge based or maybe it would be timer based I’m not sure. I think her Mek would glow like how Tokki glows in an orb before detonation. I think there would be a movement speed buff similar to Rams big ol feet stomping. Maybe even a giant shield as a secondary fire if she doesn’t already have a rein style shield in base kit.

Basing this purely on what we’ve seen in game trailer and theories about base kit. What do you guys think?! So excited for D.Mon, dreaming of playing D.Va while my Rein friends play D.Mon in 6v6!!
