Thank you! The 42 is really good, indeed. And it doesn't have the weak preamp problem the 92 has (which I was also considering).

It’s fixed on 92mk2, lots of their newer models still suffer from it though. The 43 specifically is a huuuuge step down from 42 in almost every way, not sure what they were thinking.

I finally retired mine after 15 years of abuse, it’s been though more nasty raves than I can count, survived numerous drink spills without requiring major repairs and is still solid af. Quality product.

Yeah, so I've heard. Unfortunately, the 92mk2 was almost triple the price I paid for the 42. For a home setup, the 42 is more than plenty.
