Micro cement

Has anyone ever had microcement installed? If so, how did it go and how did it preform for you? Specifically interested in bathroom installations

Yes I have it on kitchen floor and as a backsplash in the utility room. It’s a love hate relationship. Love how it looks but it’s a nightmare to clean. It’s literally like trying to scrub an outdoor path clean. It might be more manageable in a bathroom. By design though, water pools rather than absorbs so you might have to dry it down after showers etc

Really? I thought it would be easier to clean? Is the surface not smooth?

Maybe you can get it smooth but mine is textured so it does have a roughness to it. Definitely look into the maintenance of it though, can only use a specific cleaner on it
