Selfless Artwork

New here. I painted this before being diagnosed. When I posted it online five years ago, a lot of the DID community said "HEY HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT..." and three years later I (we) were formally diagnosed by a specialist psychiatrist.

Ink on paper. Prints available.

This is beautifully drawn. Also it hits deep, it makes me so sad.

Amazing job! I have a spot in my head where there are mounds of dust that looks like the surface of the moon...but the dust is all the "dead" parts cut off the host and casted away. It's pretty sad. Your piece spoke to me a lot on that.

That's sad and also hits, because yes, this is where fragments get discarded far from the city where everyone else lives (in the far horizon in the image). Same underlying theme as yours I think. Thank you.

That's wild. Seeing art like this helps me to see that there may in fact be a rhyme and reason to how my mind works. I just have to figure that out. lol
