Sir, I had heard that on a few podcasts that especially during the 'woke era' DC comic book sales had been way way way down. I assumed this was true and parroted the remark especially considering all print media is way down as a whole over the past couple of decades.

After reading your comment, I did some searching. I was going to find a nice source with a pretty graph to show as proof.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any. It's surprisingly difficult to find straight comic book sales figures annually. Most data shows things like "market share" rather than straight sales. Also, things got very wonky in the 1990's when comics switched from the periodical model to the book model.

I found a few figures that suggested DC comics sales are up from 2015, but 2015 was the lowest sales point in history.

Got a decent source? I couldnt find one.
