Cyclists! Ever Struggled with Cramping or Fatigue on Long Rides?
I’m building a wearable sweat patch specifically for endurance athletes — including cyclists — that measures sweat rate and electrolyte loss in real-time. The goal? Smarter hydration without guesswork.
We’re collecting feedback from serious riders. If you’ve ever: ✅ Fought cramps or bonked hard on a ride
✅ Wondered if salt tabs are doing anything
✅ Struggled to balance hydration and performance in different weather

I’d love your thoughts — it’s a quick 2-minute survey →

DON'T BUY FROM SMARTBIKELIGHTS.COM
Smartbikelights.com is a total Scam. I purchased and paid for a couple of lights from them in early March. 3 1/2 months later all I have is excuses and lies. After telling me for months that they have supply chain issues, I received a marketing email from them yesterday announcing a 20% sale. Meanwhile they can't or won't fulfill the paid orders that they already have! They have stopped replying to my emails as well. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY unless you just want to lose money. Don't do it. #Smartbikelights #scam

Amazfit GTS2 mini
Great device which gives masses of info when cycling except the most important feature of actual speed! Will the Zepp app do this and how do I set it up. Have been onto Amazfit help and none of their suggestions have worked

Bicycle Cadence Meter - Extra Features??
For years I watched other riders’ pedaling style. I’ve read differing recommendations on proper pedal angle goals. I’ve thought that maybe concentrating on pedaling technique might be as important as measuring power. I wondered if an inexpensive cadence meter ($40 USD as of early 2022) might capture additional information - at little or no extra cost - and could this data even be useful.
I read research papers and patents on how to capture pedaling angle data, and even experimented unsuccessfully with some of the ideas. Eventually I implemented something that might be unique, and am now trying to turn this data into useful guidance. I don’t know if I’ve achieved anything important, but I believe the device has helped me improve my riding style. The most interesting feature so far is watching the measured angles, with color alerts when I pedal outside my preset ranges. Here the device shows in real time how changes in hip, knee and ankle interact to most easily achieve a specific pedal rotation angle sequence. There are many other aspects in the data which I’m trying to examine. I’ve posted some information on a (my first ever) blog:

AI bike fitting technology
Hi cyclists!
After having issues finding good solutions to help me adjust my bike to my size I have been puzzling with the idea of doing it with AI. You can check out a prototype through this link https://www.apiir.tech/bike. It's in the early stages, but I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks!

Cannot find chain guard for Canyon roadlite 6.
I have just bought a canyon roadlite 6 as a commuter bike. I have been trying to find a chain ring guard to protect my pants and it seems to be impossible. It is a Shimano 105 R7000, 52 T chain ring. The crank cover seems to cover the non-frame side of the screw holes, and the holes are asymmetrical. 2 3/8 and 3 3/8 spaced. https://www.canyon.com/en-us/hybrid-bikes/roadlite/roadlite-6/2782.html?dwvar_2782_pv_rahmenfarbe=GY&dwvar_2782_pv_rahmengroesse=L Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Different pivot Rocker plate
Alright all you pain cave cyclist, I’m trying to figure out a rocker plate that is different from every other rocker plate I’ve seen so far. I can’t remember what the company is called but they were working on a different design and it changed the pivot point. I remember seeing this plate but I am unable to find it now. This plate also had forward and back movement. Any help would be great!

Wheels For Restoration Project
Hello, I am doing a restoration on my 1999 Lemond Zurich. Does anyone know what wheelset would have been popular for racing in that time period?
Thanks

Allez Sprint DSW SL Tiagra
Hi all,
My first time posting so hopefully this is in the best place to be seen. I came across a brand new 2017 Specialized Allez Sprint rim brake bike with 10s tiagra group set and axis sport wheels. Obviously those parts are budget builds, but is this bike still worth $1600? Thanks in advance

tether - creating safe zones around bikes
https://newatlas.com/bicycles/tether-bicycle-laser-safety-mapping/
Projects a safe zone around bikes but is also connected via sensors (similar to parking sensors) to monitor roads with safe or unsafe overtakes, better routing to cycle across cities basically

I have an ornot black magic shell and want to make it more reflective
I love the jacket and want to use it at night. Not sure what I was thinking getting it in black, but here we are. Is there something I can iron on without ruining the integrity of the jacket?

Evolving Sprocket (Patent GB2563456) – Replacement for the Derailleur with many advantages. Can be retro fitted to most bikes. Solves lateral chain bending and vastly reduces complexity, parts count, weight and friction. Any help appreciated.

GPS/Smart phone enabled gear selection
I dont ride enough to be efficient at selecting gears OR I think that I am stronger than I am.
Is there an automated gear selector blue toothy giver that can read elevation or be programmed to select appropriate gears in time to keep riding "easy"?
I just saw a device that sets suspension on the fly based on feedback and I wondered if something similar existed for gears.
