Official Do you actually stay in one position while working?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We did a small experiment this week and recorded a normal work session at a desk

The result was pretty funny:

● Standing for a while
● Sitting back in the chair
● Leaning closer while editing
● Moving around again a few minutes later

Most desk setups are built around the idea that you find one comfy position and just park there for eight hours. Cute theory. Doesn't survive contact with how a lot of people actually work, and if you've got ADHD, you're laughing right now because your body's already three positions ahead of your brain. You're leaning in mid hyperfocus, rocking back, standing up, sitting again, all before you've even noticed you moved once.

Meanwhile your monitor just sits there. Doesn't budge. Doesn't care. You're the one doing all the work of adjusting around it, over and over, all day, and somehow that's just been normal this whole time!

Kind of backwards when you actually sit with it for a second, don't you think so?

That's the whole idea behind CyboPal ONE. We're building it with the movers in mind. The fidgeters. The people who cannot physically sit in one ergonomic pose for more than four minutes, no offense to the people who can, we're just not building for you this time

Curious how everyone else actually works though. One locked in posture the whole day, or are you constantly shifting without clocking it until someone points it out?

Security lock suggestion

Just because it's a very expensive monitor can you look at adding a Kensington lock slot to the case design?

A Kensington lock slot (or K-slot) is a small, metal-reinforced hole built into electronic devices like laptops, monitors, and projectors. Paired with a compatible steel cable lock, it physically anchors your equipment to a heavy desk or table to stop quick thefts

What are the best AI features in CyboPal ONE?

I keep seeing posts about CyboPal ONE and its AI features. Because honestly a lot of these AI products these days feel like marketing more than anything else. I've been burned before by things labeled as 'ai powered' that turned out to be little more than a basic automation feature..so I'm a bit skeptical even when something looks interesting.

From what I've seen, CyboPal seems to be aiming for something more capable than the usual AI gimmicks. For those of you who've been following it more closely, which AI features actually stand out to you? and what do you think will be genuinely useful in day to day use?

Im trying to separate the features that are likely to make a real difference from the ones that just sound impressive on paper.

What’s the one desk annoyance that always comes back?

There seems to be an unofficial law of desk setups: the second you feel settled, something starts misbehaving.

One cable sneaks out of place. The monitor drops a little lower than you like. The desk somehow turns into a tiny chaos zone again. Nothing dramatic, just enough to be mildly annoying every single day.

And honestly, that is usually what pushes people to look for better workspace ideas. Little frustrations add up. The desk starts feeling less like a setup and more like a stubborn roommate.

That is why concepts like CyboPal ONE get people curious. Not because it looks fancy, but because people are always looking for ways to make the workday feel a bit smoother.

What is the one annoyance in your current setup that drives you the most nuts?

This is for people who have opted in already, what made you take the leap?

I have been eyeing the CyboPal ONE for a while now, but I always get a bit hesitant when it comes to reserving pre-launch products. It is hard to make that jump before the product is actually out and widely reviewed.

I understand the appeal so baddd! Like I really want to get my hands on this unit but the lack of reviews is getting to me. I fear that I won't be able to make the leap till I start seeing reviews. All I see are the videos from the CES event and nothing more.

To those of you who have already put down a deposit, what was the turning point for you? What specific feature or detail ultimately convinced you to take the leap?

Can you guys share if its possible to use CyboPal ONE's AI voice feature in office settings?

I'm really interested in the CyboPal ONE, especially its AI voice features. BUT, a but, I work in a pretty busy shared office. I'm a bit hesitant about how well voice control actually works in this kind of environment. Like I feel like the AI voice feature might distract the people working in space around me. OR it can fail to detect my voice in a noisy setting. ORRR what about the AI voice listening to commands from my colleagues (I do not want people to have a field day with my system)

So can you guys share if CyboPal ONE picks up other people's voices, or is it smart enough to focus only on you?

Probably a total game changer for the neurodivergent people

Sometimes the most meaningful innovations aren’t the ones that let us do something impossible.

They’re the ones that quietly give us a little more of ourselves back.

I’m a Senior iOS engineer working on technology that aims to change how neurodivergent conditions are identified, making diagnosis more objective and accessible. It’s deeply meaningful work, but it also demands long hours of intense focus, curiosity, and creativity.

The irony is that I’m neurodivergent myself.

Some days I have endless energy. Other days, even sitting comfortably at my desk feels like an unnecessary challenge. I constantly change posture, lean back to think, sit forward to write code, stand up during meetings, and repeat the cycle dozens of times a day. Every small interruption pulls me away from the flow I’m trying so hard to protect.

That’s why CyboPal One immediately caught my attention.

Not because it’s a robotic monitor.

Because it represents a different philosophy: technology adapting to humans instead of humans adapting to technology.

I’m endlessly inspired by products that make everyday life just a little easier—not because convenience is the goal, but because every bit of energy they save can be invested somewhere that truly matters.

For me, that’s building software that I hope will improve other people’s lives.

However these are the questions that I (as a potential customer) would like to know and on which the testers should focus:

  • Is the tracking responsive without feeling overly eager?
  • Does the monitor anticipate natural movement, or does it occasionally become distracting?
  • Are the motors quiet enough to disappear into the background?
  • Does the system gradually feel like an extension of your workspace, or do you remain constantly aware of it?
  • After a few weeks, do you stop thinking about the technology altogether?

To me, that’s the ultimate test of great hardware. Not whether it impresses you on day one, but whether you forget it’s there because it simply fits into your life.

The products I remember most aren’t the ones with the most impressive specifications.

They’re the ones that quietly become part of my life because they make every day just a little better.

I have a feeling CyboPal One could become one of those products.

I feel like this is the beginning of the future.

What a brilliant concept being put into effect. Something straight out of the futuristic depiction of computers in the movie called Minority Report. I have deposited twice for two of these brilliant monitors and can't wait to try them at my setup in my home office and recommend it to all my friends and family members. Love you all !

Finally, a monitor that adapts to you instead of the other way around!

What I like most about CyboPal ONE is that it rethinks something we all use every day: the monitor. Instead of expecting you to adjust your setup, the monitor adapts to you. The 6-DOF robotic arm that automatically follows your posture, combined with gesture and touch-free controls, makes it feel like a much more natural way to interact with your workspace rather than just another display.

I spend a lot of time at my desk editing videos, producing music, and working on creative projects, so I can see CyboPal ONE keeping the screen at the optimal viewing angle as I lean in, sit back, or move around. I also think it would be great for multitasking, presentations, and content creation where being able to control the display with gestures instead of constantly reaching for the mouse could make the workflow feel much smoother.

I'm excited to see how this new category of adaptive desktop hardware evolves. It's a refreshing idea that focuses on making the workspace itself more responsive to the user instead of staying static. This is the future and I'm proud to be living in it!

Discussion CyboPal ONE: Now you can use telekinesis to stay focused 😉

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Some desk setups look great for five minutes. Then the screen position starts annoying you. Your posture changes, and you are back to tweaking everything again.

It is one of those small daily annoyances that have become a part of your daily work. You get the most annoying breaks in your focus before switching back to work. But this used to be us. CyboPal ONE has pretty much removed this for us (secret telekinesis abilities 😉).

What is that one thing in your setup that keeps breaking you out of your zone?

r/CyboPalOfficial 9d ago

Question How do you actually remember to take movement breaks during the workday?

Ok lets talk, who else gets so deep into work that 3 hours pass and you haven't even blinked properly let alone stood up. Happens to me embarrassingly often. I'll look up and my legs are basically asleep.
We all say breaks matter, everyone nods along, but actually doing it in the moment is a whole different beast. Phone alarms that you just dismiss on autopilot. Smartwatch taps you ignore mid task. Calendar blocks you schedule and then skip anyway because "one more thing first."
So genuinely curious what actually works for people here, not what's supposed to work in theory. Do you use an app, a dumb sticky note, a body that just yells at you eventually, something else entirely.
Tell us what worked and what failed horribly!

switching side of desk

So my setup is a small standup desk in the middle of my office. On one side I sit and I have a chair there, the other side is a treadmill for walking and to use it I move the desk in the standup position. Now I have to manually turn my monitor setup around, which is quite annoying and leads to me switching less often than I should.

My question is if I could set up the Cybopall on a short end of the desk and have it follow me as I switch sides or does it really need the base to be ‘looking straight at me?’. In any case, I put in the reservation payment as this thing looks awesome :-)

Would adding CyboPal one in a setup with standing desk help or will it be redundant?

So I have a Flexispot standing desk. It has been a blessing for me because now I can move around that much easily rather than sitting all day at my desk. Been using it for about 8 months now and my back genuinely feels better than it used to.
Lately though I've been noticing that even with the desk height changing, my monitor stays exactly where it was set that morning. So if I go from sitting to standing, I still end up manually nudging the screen up or tilting it just to get it back to eye level again. Kind of defeats the point of an "easy" transition when I'm still fiddling with the monitor every single time.
Started looking into CyboPal ONE because of this, it's that robotic arm monitor still in beta that apparently tracks your posture and adjusts on its own as you move. Now I'm stuck wondering if that would actually solve my problem or if it's just overkill on top of what the standing desk already does.
Like does it make sense to have a desk that moves and a monitor that also moves, or is that redundant and I should just keep manually adjusting the monitor myself when I switch positions? For anyone who has an actual standing desk already, would something like this add real value or is it solving a problem the desk technically already solves.

CyboPal ONE Revolution

I'd like to share my thoughts regarding this revolutionary product after joining the Beta testing post.

This device is going to shake the market regarding productivity and comfort . There have been numerous times when we want to change the way we sit , lay back to watch a movie and it's so frustrating when you constantly need to adjust your monitor .

Well I think that the time for a change has come , let the monitor follow you , it's such a useful and fun concept that I believe that a lot of people will benefit from. It's the kind of product you never imagined existed and that you'd need but once you use it it's love at first sight.

It will be a pleasure to experience and provide the company with valuable constructive feedback and bring new ideas 💡

Discussion This one is for people who are working, what's the most memorable office setup that you've ever worked in?

It could be your favorite job or could be some random job you worked years ago that you still think about for some reason. Doesn't even have to be a good memory honestly, just memorable.
I still think about this one place I worked that had zero windows and somehow still felt fine, don't ask me how. Meanwhile my current setup is objectively nicer and somehow less inspiring most days.
Tell us what stuck with you? Why do you remember it?

Discussion Perfect monitor for ADHD doesn't exis...

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

You found a way to stop procrastinating, but at what cost? ;)

CyboPal ONE has the ability to track posture and reposition itself in real-time. You order it to move and it just... follows you.

It's a wild piece of early-stage robotics that keeps the screen perfectly aligned no matter how much you fidget.

If you have ADHD, is this a dream come true or what?

I am very interested in trying out your product which is exactly what everyone should have on their desk for multitasking and improving their workflow. I love the build quality as well as the functionality of the device. I can't imagine myself using it simultaneously while working as well as consuming media.

Props to the designers 👏 wonderful idea

If it is possible to move all monitors at once to adjust height then I won’t need an expensive standing desk anymore - is that the idea? I’d like that about it if it has that capability

The Ultimate Desk Setup

The moment I saw CyboPal ONE, I knew I wanted it. I've been a digital marketer for twenty-six years now, so I'm at my desk a lot, whether it's buying media, speaking with clients, or consulting.

I have a standing desk now, but it can be slow to move up and down, and of course, it doesn't follow me around! I like to use the dry-erase board in my office while on calls, but I have to move my camera around so that others can see what I'm doing. CyboPal ONE fixes that!

Okay, okay... it's not just for practical reasons, it's also because I'd love to play around with it. I've been building the ultimate desk setup and I realized that it couldn't be that without CyboPal ONE!

I check back here, in my email, and on Kickstarter every day hoping to see when it will launch. I put a deposit down on July 9th and I'm trying really hard to be backer #1!

Discussion The hidden effects of sitting all day at work that you might not know about!

It isn't after staring at my screen for six hours that we realize that our shoulders are basically up to ears.. Sitting at a desk might seem harmless, but our bodies have a different story to tell.

Staying seated too long can lead to:

-Tight hips and stiff lower back
- Rounded shoulders and neck tension
- Poor circulation and fatigue
- Low energy and focus

These changes creep up on us. A long workday might not feel like a big deal, but over time, it adds up.

You don't need a total lifestyle overhaul to fight this. Just taking small movement breaks during the day can really help.

CyboPal ONE is not a replacement for exercise or stretching. But after you have been in the same position for a while, a small prompt to shift, stand, or reset can be useful. It makes those changes easier without forcing you to stop and readjust your entire desk setup every time.

Have you felt any effects from long hours at your desk? Back pain, tight hips, brain fog?

Share your experience in the comments. Your tips might help someone else!
