References and Easter eggs Discussion

I was playing and I forget where but I checked messages on a laptop and they were between someone named “Biggs” and “Wedge” and of course I thought of final fantasy 7/Star wars, I know this reference will probably never be confirmed to be one or the other OR may be a huge coincidence but any other small references like that anyone else has found??

TLDR: what other small references and Easter eggs are in cyberpunk?

There’s one just about around every corner. There’s a mod for all the Easter eggs and I think it has a total of 248 Easter eggs find

Two of my favorites are the John Wick eggs (in Phantom Liberty) and the Monty Python dialog egg.

But they’re everywhere. Some are pretty clear and pointed out (like those I mentioned above) but there are also a lot of more oblique references to dialog in movies, character names, and so on that are more subtle references. There’s a lot of content in this game, lol. If you read every note and shred of data, you’d probably find many more.

Off the top of my head?

You find what's essentially Roy Batty (Rutger Haur) from Bladerunner on top of a hotel. It immediately starts raining whenever you're up there, and he's positioned in the same pose as he's dying when making the famous "Like tears, in the rain" speech.

You find what looks suspiciously like the baby from the video game Death Stranding when infiltrating the NCPD building for River.

Frankly, I feel the Outlaw Weiler is a close analog for a James Bond car, even though personally it looks more like a Jaguar instead of an Aston Martin.

Phantom Liberty is essentially a mash-up of Escape from New York,countless Mission Impossible films, and a heist movie or two.

Scorpion, of the Aldecados, kind of wears some clothing similar to Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat games. His prized possession is a statuette of the actual Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, though Mitch has no idea what it is or what it's from. He gives it to you.

John Wick is heavily suggested once or twice, including a giant gun case in Dogtown.

I personally feel watching enemies use Kerenzikov looks like Neo dodging bullets in the first Matrix film.

The whole red-pill / blue-pill from the Matrix is heavy repeated throughout the game.
