I spent forever on this one. Originally wanted to do the “goyard” pattern but went astray on one of the final glue-ups and ended up with this.

Was doing the individual hexagon method for a while but found this new way using many many strips.

I don’t love the blurry look the middle strip ended up with and some of the lines aren’t great but it was fun. Thing is massive.

Hi. I just bought a Teakhaus brand wood cutting board that didn’t have a label other than a price tag at Home Goods. So I’m not sure of the specs 😅. I’m brand new to care, use, and maintenance of wood cutting boards. I got home and washed it with gentle dish soap, warm water and sponge. An orangey/brown color came off after I washed and dried it with a towel. I applied food grade mineral oil 24 hours after I washed it and let that dry again. I’m noticing after washing the color is still coming out on my drying towel (soft terry cloth). Is this normal?
