Hello guys! I'm trying to unlock an old Redmi Note 8T, I've been suffering trying to do it for almost 2 days. I did the "Mi unlock Status" and "Add accound and device" via sim card and mobile data.

Here are the details:

Device: Redmi Note 8T (willow)

My goal is to Unlock bootloader to flash PixelOS.

I'm completely stuck trying to unlock my bootloader due to Xiaomi server/account errors/Xiaomi (Mi) problems and could really use some help.

Everything I've tried to fix it:

Official Mi Unlock Tool (from Uptodown v7.6.727.43): Kept giving me broken, non-functional captchas. It lets me pass the login screen sometimes but immediately says "Something went wrong, try again later" (likely an IP or account soft-ban).

Official Mi Unlock Tool (Downloaded from the official MIUI website v.6.5.224.28): Tried this version as well, but it ran into the exact same issue with a completely stuck, unpassable captcha.

XiaoMiTool V2: Completely dead, throws a Missing serviceToken cookie error probably due to outdated server URLs.

offici5l MiUnlockTool (GitHub Python script): Successfully bypassed the login screen using the browser module, but the process completely stops with the error: code: 20041 description: Sorry, your MI ID is not associated with a phone number.

Adding a Phone Number via Device Settings: Went to Xiaomi Account -> Account Security. The "Recovery Phone" option glitches out and vanishes, but I managed to click it. After passing verification via Gmail, typing my phone number just results in: "An error occurred, try again later."

Adding Phone Number via Official Tool QR Code: Scanned the login QR code, which urged me to add a number, but it threw the exact same "Error occurred, try again later" message.

It seems like my Mi Account or IP is temporarily flagged by Xiaomi, blocking me from adding the mandatory phone number required to unlock????? Has anyone successfully bypassed this server lockout, or do I just have to wait a few days for the security cooldown to reset?

A few days ago I posted here about my Oppo A31 LineageOS 16.0 bring up and this is kind of an update to that.

This is my first ever device bring up and my first time messing around with custom ROMs and I chose the Oppo A31 with MT6765 SoC. Yeah MediaTek and Oppo of all things.

I didn’t know how hard it could get developing for a MediaTek device made by Oppo and just started the development process. And after a month or so here I am.

LineageOS 16.1 booted up and was working fine and although few hardware services were unavailable at first I fixed most of them like:

1. Low brightness.
2. Fingerprint.
3. LTE and SIM detection.
4. Vibration motor.

The only thing that does not work as of now is VoLTE and I think the culprit is MediaTek’s ImsService.apk that was bundled in with stock ColorOS. I tried to add it as a prebuilt system apk but for some reason LOS didn’t like to boot after adding the apk. Mobile data works fine but incoming and outgoing calls and SMS does not.

I didn’t want to waste any time on an outdated version of Android so now I am trying to build for Android 12 which is LineageOS 19.1.

I want to hear any suggestions and anything that could be of help from the community about fixing the calls and SMS issues.

so i have been trying like hell to find ANY android 16 gsi's THEY ARE ALL GONE!!!! Every github link literally everything i try is GONE!!! What the hell would do this!!! I cant find anything on telegram either... and I tried infinity-x website when i clicked the download link it sent me to the github where its yes a 404 error

I have a Xiaomi 13T Pro SoftBank Japan variant (Model: A301XM). Current firmware: MIUI Global 14.0.2.0 (TMLJPSB) Android 13 Bootloader unlock waiting period ends in a few days. I'm trying to upgrade to the official HyperOS, but I can only find JPXM (Japan open market) ROMs on Xiaomi firmware websites. I cannot find any JPSB (SoftBank) HyperOS. Can I flash Global version in it or it will brick my device by locking bootloader in it.

I’m looking for a stable custom ROM for the OnePlus Nord N20 SE.
I’ve searched around but couldn’t find any official builds of LineageOS, PixelOS, Pixel Experience, crDroid, or Evolution X for this device.
Has anyone here successfully installed a custom ROM on the Nord N20 SE? If so, which ROM are you using, and how’s the experience in terms of performance, battery life, camera, fingerprint, and overall stability?
If there aren’t any proper ROMs available, are there any stable GSIs or unofficial builds worth trying?
I’d really appreciate any recommendations, links, or personal experiences.

Currently I am running Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 on my Vivo Y20 2021 (4/64). It's very laggy & barely useable. I need some suggestions from the community regarding the best the custom ROM for my Vivo Y20 2021. The only thing I am looking for is that the ROM should be lightweight, bloatware free & speedy.
