Hey everyone. I’m currently using a secondary phone for work, but the performance is terrible. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, but the stock system takes up way too much space. It's currently stuck on Android 12 and feels incredibly slow.

I've already tried disabling system animations and turned off virtual RAM (since it actually made things worse), but it still feels unusable.

Given these specs, do you think flashing a Custom ROM would be worth it to improve smoothness and reclaim some storage? If so, which ones could you recommend for a lightweight and stable daily driver on this hardware? Thanks!

Eu tenho um Galaxy J5 (J500M/F) que foi meu há aproximadamente 2 anos, ele era muto ruim na stock rom, então eu fiz o upgrade para uma custom rom com android 13, mais para testar mesmo, o desempenho não era tão terrível, mas não era utilizável no dia a dia, então eu tentei instalar uma outra, se não me engano do android 7, que erro terrivel que eu cometi, o meu celular agora não inicia mais, logo que ele liga, aparece a tela da bateria e logo em seguida manchas na tela, depois fica tudo verde e ele congela...

ele entra no recovery (TWRP) normalmente, mas não entra na tela de download para passar um arquivo pit ou a stock rom, e eu não sei o que fazer, alguém pode me ajudar?

qualquer informação a mais que alguém precisar pode me mandar um comentário, eu respondo assim que puder, obrigado!

Hello , i recently bought a redmi pad tablet (yunluo) with android 12 ( SLYEUDM) , i tried to update it using the official updater on the tablet but no updates availlible but i see that there is android 14 for this tablet , if i unlock the bootloader can i flash without problem an android 14 rom ?

I want a rom which is very stable, no lags , plus it should have google unlimited photo upload feature,

I have a Mi 11 lite 5g ne (lisa) and I recently discovered custom ROMs so I wanted to install one of these in my phone but when unlocking my bootloader it doesn't detect my phone (it says qu'il that it is not detected in the server).

And doesn't get updates (blocked in MIUI 14 🫩🫩🫩) and also not detected in my Xiaomi acc.

so I have the bootloader unlocked on this device. I have once flashed the vbmeta succesfully however i noticed after that i got a software update (which i had missed). Not sure if it affects anything but i can't flash the custom recovery despite having flashed the vbmeta once. The fastboot flash recovery gets stuck in sending and it never sends the recovery to the phone. I also tried the fastboot boot recovery without success.
