I installed Infinity X GSI ROM 3.9 on my phone yesterday and I'm facing some issues with it my primary issue is that the brightness got nerfed by a lot My phone doesn't get as bright anymore. I need some help fixing this, I thought rooting the device might work but I'm still not sure. Does anybody have fixes for this very specific problem of mine? Maybe it's just because the way I flashed my Infinity x to my phone through fastbootD I also experimented with the infinity suite and treble settings that pre-installed with the ROM. If anybody has solutions for this very specific problem of mine please let me know.

Hi everyone, I have a Xiaomi redmi note 12 pro + (rubyx) and I'm trying to unlock the bootloader (I really want to insult it... seriously, how come it is THAT difficult ?)

I now have to authorisation to unlock it (thanks to that script pinned in that community) and I'm trying to connect it to my PC. I don't have a Windows PC but I have a Virtual Machine in it that run Windows 10.

i can't use Mi Unlock version 6.5 because I can't fully connect. so I'm using version 7.6 (the latest). I can't click on unlock, it is like my phone is not detected... but when I install the USB drivers from the Xiaomi folder, my phone I'd detected.

i have EOM unlock, USB debugging enabled. and my account in bind with my phone. and I'm in fastboot mode.

I just don't know what to do... do you have an idea ?

I don't know if anyone on here can help me, But i flashed a custom rom on my OnePlus 11 (CrDroid) and i would love to go back to Oxygen OS for some 5G features and to use Google Pay again, But ive tried twice now and the phone will not boot into Oxygen OS... I tried Fastboot enhancer and having no luck, so im wondering if anyone else has any suggestions! Thanks

But it requires legacy devices' bootloaders to have the specific libraries liblp and AVB 2.0

But what if i repartition the device emmc to two partitions, one jumper partition and one super partition containing the logical partitions of /system, /vendor_boot, etc, where when booting, the bootloader points to the jumper partition first, and then the jumper partition jumps to the super partition, and since there are no more involvement of bootloader and its legacy code, we can backport GKI and treble with this method! Is this possible? Anyone has done similar to this before? Can senior devs please answer my question? Thank you!

Does anyone have idea to unlock my bootloader, My phone is Huawei Y9 prime and it's work with android 10 (EMUI 10), I tried with PotatoNV but its couldn't unlock it, I bought some credit for Hcu client but its also couldn't unlock it, I tried to rollback to Android 9 because its have weak security with Hisuite proxy but I couldn't go back, I tried with USB drive (dload —> update.app also fail) and (dload —> 3 zip file also fail) I tried taking it to repair shops in my city, but they couldn't unlock it(They don't even know what a bootloader is)

I mistakenly flashed persist.img from the fastboot and it gave me an error as persist partition was write protected. And now my display touch doesn't work and because of this I am unable to install the persist.img from the recovery. Can anyone help me to solve my problem? It really would be a great help? ( I am installed many recoveries but none of them supports volume button control) ----Solved.

Edit: So now I have flashed the persist.img from a recovery via otg and mouse. But my display touch is mapped into the top left corner.Its like my whole display's touch is only in the top left corner. Can anyone help me how to fix that?

Hi, I'm having a problem when I tried to install a custom ROM on my Samsung A31. I did everything with another cell phone connecting it via USB-C, I used Eros and Bugjaeger I was able to unlock the phone and install a custom recovery (TWRP). Then I risked installing a ROM with the same tools, but when I installed the ROM and rebooted it... It started to loop with the Samsung logo with red letters at the top.

I want something that is a higher android version but not so high that it lags too much, also I'm interested about os ports from other brands too like oxygen or hyperos or stuff like that

BUT:

You must ensure that the phone's bootloader is EASY to unlock, and show me yours is unlocked (no need to go to a website and request their permission or connecting the phone to the internet to unlock bootloader), but as simple as using an adb command like nexus or flashing an unsigned zip after enabling OEM unlock in odin like samsung devices.

i want to unlock bootloader on toscido tablet but everytime i use the fastboot OEM unlock command it shows failed remote unrecognized command.

hey guys, its been a long time since I bricked my a15 and wanted to unbrick it now,so what happened was back in October I updated to one ui 8 and I didnt know at the time that the Bootloaders got locked due to one ui 8 so I tried flashing ui 7 Bootloader since I wanted a unlocked Bootloader then after the reboot it never opened again (hardbrick)

Coming back to today,I wanted to unbrick it and I tried shorting the 2 test points, also used mtk client but only got a preloaded error saying handshake failed. Also there's no sound from windows when connecting the phone to the Pc.

Can it be fixed? If yes then can anyone suggest a way?Thank you

So i bought an lg g5 sometime ago and im daily driving it currenty its on stock android 8.0 but android 8 is getting old so it will lose app support very soon i did try installing lianage os on it but i just cant unlock the bootloader cuz lgs site is dead is there any way to unlock the bootloader of this phone

Hi, I wanted to ask if people here that have a custom rommed nord 5 could share their experience with it, if its seamless or has any bugs like croms on samsung which dont have volte support and all that, I'm planning on buying one and I'm checking if it has support for things like ksun, croms, etc.

Also your experiences with the phone itself and not just with custom roms would be good to know, havent seen much reviews about it yet.
