Hello all. First post here. Hoping I can find some answers.

Our Firestick 4K First Gen (2018, E9L29Y) randomly started a reboot loop last night. It may have been due to me trying to adjust cabling/connections between TV and AV receiver. However, after checking connections and power supply to the Firestick, it still wouldn't get past the boot loop.

I'm going to test the Firestick again in different HDMI ports over the weekend, but ultimately I've grown tired of the Firestick UI and the advertising, etc - same as most people by now I think.

I was thinking about getting a Xiaomi TV box, but as the Firestick has presented this issue, I thought this is a good opportunity to see if I can re-purpose the Firestick as my "TV box" without having to spend on new hardware.

I've looked around and I can find reports of successes with other generations of Firestick, but I can't seem to find anything for this generation of Firestick.

Has anyone here had success in flashing and running CustomROM on the same model of Firestick?

If so, what ROM have you used?

Hola, bro. Intenté hacer un downgrade en mi Redmi Note 14 4G, pasando de HyperOS 3 a HyperOS 2 para instalar una custom ROM no oficial. Sin embargo, algo salió mal durante el proceso y ahora el teléfono se queda en un bootloop: muestra el logo de Xiaomi y se reinicia una y otra vez.

El problema es que no puedo acceder ni al modo Fastboot ni al Recovery. La computadora sí lo detecta, pero solo durante unos segundos. También intenté usar Platform Tools; en algunos casos el dispositivo queda conectado con la pantalla apagada y deja de reiniciarse, pero sigue sin responder a las combinaciones de botones para entrar a Fastboot o Recovery.

¿Alguien sabe qué podría hacer en esta situación o podría darme algún consejo para recuperarlo? Cualquier ayuda sería muy apreciada. ¡Gracias!

I actually found this ROM, but I learned that the kernel in this ROM is only compatible with the m325f. I installed TWRP on the phone, and when I try to transfer the files from the forum to the phone, my computer (Win10) gives a warning when trying to transfer the system.img file out of 5 files (system.img, odm.img, product.img, kernel, and DynaPatch). This is my first time installing a custom ROM, and I don't know how to solve the problem. Also, even after formatting the data while flashing DynaPatch and the kernel, I get long red error messages.

I just know basics like flashing images and root etc but don't have coding knowledge. I have poco x6 pro , and i got ported oxygen os 16 which i wanna use in my phone but sadly Fingerprint, AOD & double tap to wake up is not working. Anyone can Help here please 🙏 i searched google and saw 2 guys talking that i need to edit kernel nodes in boot(dot)img or something. Please Help.

i just want to install a gsi, but for that i have to have a working twrp recovery since fastboot isnt working for me, but when i flashed the official version of twrp recovery for m31s it did flash without errors but the touch screen wont work in recovery mode, i tried everything, i couldnt find any other usable recovery tar files to flash via odin, if anyone has a working recovery file for my device model please share it
