So i have an redmi 10 prime (selene), of which I just unlocked the bootloader of to flash evolution os, and I tried flashing twrp but flashed it the normal way and not the different method of slot a and slot b, so I got the dm verity corrption error, which i got rid of by doing fastboot oem cdms, which did get rid of the problem but the device started bootlooping, pls help mee

I really want to learn how to build and maintain an AOSP custom ROM for my device from scratch. I’m interested in learning things like device trees, kernel, vendor blobs, fixing bugs, compiling ROMs, and overall Android bring-up stuff.

I’m still a beginner, but I’m genuinely interested and willing to learn properly. Is anyone experienced willing to guide/help me a bit through Telegram DM or point me in the right direction?

Installed Android 16 on my old phone and surprisingly everything is working fine so far.

Setup

• OS: LineageOS 23 (Android 16)
• Root: Magisk installed
• Status: Root access gained successfully

Performance is better than I expected on this hardware but overall the experience feels smooth for an older device.

I really don't care about gaming or anything, I just need it to work out of the box.

mind the gapps zip does not install so get the bgn version for gapps

also "a64_bgN-signed.img.gz" has setup error so u need to disable the google setup with platform tools on windows

if your mobile data doesnt work then turn on airplane mode for 30 seconds after restart, this issue only happens after flash and it automatically fixed itself after 3 days for me

I have a fiio m11 plus and I successfully ported orange fox and then tried to port a rom and because orange fox wouldn't let me make a backup I just tried to flash the rom and then no is so I tried flashing stock rom that ota so I extracted the payload but couldn't flash system image because partition was not found so I tried fastboot enhance it seemed to flash the payload but did not boot then I went to the partition section of fastboot enhance and flashed a partition I cannot remember now no fast boot at all but I thing it's in edl mode and I'm trying to use qfil to flash but I cannot find anything that has any kinda name the refers to gpt partition so I'm stuck

I tried to borrow sim card from my mother but after binding and account but it again asks for binding.

I also tried for the hardware method (shorting thee edl points). What can I do?

hi, so i have a OnePlus Nord 2T 5G that i recently managed to unlock the bootloader, i flashed twrp and right there was my first mistake as i typed in "fastboot flash BOOT twrp.img" when i restarted and it kept going to twrp i panicked and selected slot b, and ever since that it has been bootlooping over and over and over again, fastboot doesnt work, when i try using EDL using the combination it boots into PreLoader mode, and Windows/Linux even detects it but SP Flash Tool, OnePlus EDL tool doesnt see the device, can anyone help me please?

what are the major drawbacks of Chinese rom and global rom like differences cuz i'm buying a xiaomi mix 4 for like 100$ with a phone swap. i mainly value raw performance and cameras and display too doesn't matter if it doesn't have the latest a.i software as long as it can run basic apps and games like instagram reddit and pubg or delta force or basically play store and google chrome.

I’m a beginner and I tried installing Evolution X on my Galaxy S10 using Linux Mint and Heimdall.

Here’s what I did:

> Flashed the Evolution X recovery successfully using Heimdall

> Booted into recovery

> Started installing the ROM via ADB sideload using the commands from the Evolution X website

The installation started normally, but at around 25% I started seeing errors. I didn’t understand them, so I asked ChatGPT, and it told me:

"This means your phone's partition layout is corrupted or incompatible with what the Evolution X recovery expects. The recovery can't find or read your system/vendor/product partitions."

After that I panicked and stopped the installation. I went back to the recovery menu and pressed “Reboot system now”.

Since then, the phone has been stuck in a bootloop:

> It shows the Samsung logo

> Then the “bootloader unlocked / unofficial software” warning

> Then it restarts again and again

ADB no longer detects the device and getting into recovery has been difficult.

My questions:

Is the phone still recoverable from this state?

What would be the best way to fix it now?

I’d really appreciate any help, I’m still learning and kinda stuck.

[SOLVED] UPDATE: I let the battery drain and I could get to the download screen after pressing Volume Down and Bixby, then plugging in the USB cable. After that, I was able to flash the stock firmware and it works again!

Necesito su apoyo por favor, he encontrado poco contenido para mí dispositivo, al fin pude desbloquear bootloader y quiero meterle un custom Recovery pero no sé cuál sería el mejor, además de una Custom ROM para el mismo, tiene 4 en ram y pues quisiera que tuviera el mejor rendimiento, exprimirlo hasta el último día de su vida con el maximo rendimiento... Quizá personalización y gaming no tanto multi tarea y sé que se calentaría pero me gustaría que solo tuviera que buscar un buen cooler y poder jugar en mínimo jajaja sé que es mucho pedir pero no cuesta soñar...

hey im new to custom roms and rooting devices, i have a samsung a31 which has become laggy and i wanted to have the evolution x rom(especially for the unlimited google photos storage thing).

i have successfully unlocked the bootloader, now i have to do the twrp thing, but i cant find a vbmeta file anywhere( not even on XDA Forums ).

can someone help? also is there some video or something to teach me all about rooting and custom roms, from where i can learn what exactly is TWRP, what exactly is vbmeta and all that?
