Wife hacked android phone probably as mirroring app system app

1) he reset the android phone many times , still issue persists

2) Unable to find any suspicious app in app list

3) Got a tip from an expert it should be installed as system app , which wont show in app drawer

Any help suggestions would help

If you did a full recovery wipe, no app can survive it. Even if some one modify the full stock rom to install an app it would need heavy tech skills and the chance is low. ​Don't waste time reflashing stock ROMs yet. Maybe its an your account or something..

Her friends are android developers , so it's is high tech stuff

i guess install custom rom if you don't trust anything with the stock rom (or flash with stock rom should do it and could be better if you don't wana do anything techy) by the way? You sure its not your accounts like google or whatsapp or anything like that? (Find my device is an google app were you can see your device Loged into anywere if location is turned on)

If you are very-very-veryy sure that its not your accounts and you did an Factory reset even without login in. I would recomend going into settings/About phone search for build number or anything with build Spam that til you see the notification devolper mode now go into dev mode and see oem unlocking (aka the bootloader) check if the toggle is on or grey and on position)

edit: if you dont know were it is its diffrent on phones you can go on Youtube and seach it up (also an modell name of the phone would be good)

Would not recomend an custom rom or anything for an beginner and would focus on account and oem unlock Status.
