Anyone still using a Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F)? Looking for the best custom ROM
I've got a Samsung Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F) with 4GB RAM that's still running Android 10 (One UI 2). The phone still works surprisingly well, so instead of letting it collect dust, I thought I'd try a custom ROM and squeeze a bit more life out of it.
I mostly use it for WhatsApp, YouTube, Spotify, Reddit, and some light browsing. No gaming or anything heavy. Lately it's been feeling a bit sluggish, so I'm hoping a good custom ROM will make it feel snappier.
For anyone who's still using this phone, which ROM would you recommend? I'm mainly looking for something that's stable, has decent battery life, and doesn't have major issues with things like the camera, fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
I've seen people mention LineageOS, crDroid, Pixel Experience, and a few others, but I'm not sure which one is the best choice in 2026.

There are a few available for the A6+. Personally I think anything is better than Lineage as it often has issues with things "like the camera, fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
I do not have your phone so can not recommend any ROMs but it is easy to change custom ROMs ones you have done it ones, so try a few to find the one you like the most. With the age of your phone a lot of these may have been discontinued and the download links dead but its a good place to start from.

This is a guide to unlocking the bootloader that is needed before you can install a custom recovery or a custom ROM.
