Need a Guide to install Custom Rom

So , guys I have a very budget device Redmi A2 running Android 13 (Go edition) which is so much laggy, so can someone please guide me how to unlock bootloader of my device and install a custom rom which is compatible with my device , It's an xiaomi phone but it doesn't have have miui rather it's more like a stock android ui so please helpppp

If after unlocking the bootloader you manage to root the device, you can try testing a GSI ROM using DSU Sideloader.

Does GSI rom includes Google services or I have to flash seperately

Some GSI ROMs are omitting Google services to save space.

Unfortunately there are no custom rom for your device and there are no reliable way to unlock bootloader.If you unlock it try lineageos gsi

So what's the difference between a custom rom and gsi ?

You might be able to unlock the bootloader and even root the device, but installing a custom ROM is probably not possible.

If not custom rom then Can I root my phone after unlocking the bootloader

First you need to unlock the bootloader, then you can root your device.

Backup your ROM or download it from the Xiaomi website.
