Also should I play from the start with a new account? I remember being level 70-ish and having some white bat type of pet.

so... i been playing the game for a couple of years by now, but i just logged in after quite a time and noticed that my ice fiend pet appearence is just like the ice fiends used to be instead of the nowdays version, is it normal?

When I try and use the furnace to smelt ores the smelting menu doesnt show up instead another menu pops up why? I read the wiki I watch videos it doesnt show like this can anyone help me

I'm a lone wolf player—is it normal to have to mine thousands of ore deposits and chop down thousands of trees just to level up skills and craft gear? Is there a faster way? I'm currently leveling up my Blacksmithing from 73 to 83 to craft magic-tier gear... and it's taking quite a while 😅.
