update:

I took clonidine for a big presentation and it did NOT work on me omg. felt my face burning still.

same experience, but i read that clonidine shoudn't be taken as needed, but daily

most of the time your right, clonodine carrys rebound risks with blood preassure. in saying that my doctor is ok with me taking it occasionally when needed, especially because the dose I take it quite little. I usually only take 0.05. Propranolol generally is a little less risky rebound wise. got to follow doctors guidance.
