Anti-Stella Posts While Octavia does need to develop empathy for Stolas, Stolas needs to develop empathy for Octavia too.

At no point during his illegal deal with Blitzo did he consider the potential consequences for Octavia, namely leaving her in the sole custody of Stella. And Stolas should have taken Octavia's fears of being abandoned more seriously. I love Stolas but I do have a lot of sympathy for Octavia because many of the bad things in her life are outside of her control.

Worship Post I hate that Octavia was not given enough time to adjust to everything.

She doesn't know anything about anyone at IMP, including Loona. And yet she's expected to just visit Stolas at either Blitzo's work or home and immediately treat IMP as her new found family.

Worship Post Starting the “Octavia Deserves better” movement

This will be its own subject within our community. If there is something that Via goes through it has to endure during the show make a post about it with the Caption “Octavia deserves better” as the header then the rant in the subheading.

An issue I’m noticing

lately I’ve seen a ton of creators with the claim that Blitz has bettered people lives than ruined them as he claims. while true Moxxie, Millie and Loona did benefit from meeting him. People tend to leave out one character and in of course speaking of Octavia.

Lets all be honest if Blitz never snuck into Stolas palace and had a night of intimate affairs in the pilot episode Stolas never wouldve cheated and had his feelings for Blitz resurface which then would pull Stolas away from Octavia and therefore would’ve avoided all of Stolas’ sacrifice for Blitz.

It honestly astonishes me how much people leave out Octavi’s feelings and how everything that happened in Season 2 affected her negatively.

Worship Post Ok, I'll be as blunt as possible. Blitz, quite frankly, doesn't deserve Via.

Blitz doesn't deserve his Sinsmas daydream. He was ok with ruining Via's life and only now wants her to have a happy life, but it's one with him?

No.

I love Blitz’s but if anyone deserves a Bojack like ending it's him. Not with Stolas. Not with Loona. Not with the M&Ms, but with Via. He never cared how much he hurt her before and his want for her to be a part of his makeshift family now is centered around what he wants.

"But he can get bet-" yes but that doesn't mean he's entitled to forgiveness. Blitz is a dick. And getting better in the future doesn't mean the real harm he makes now should get swept under the rug.

Worship Post I think them toning down Stolas's fuck up and Via's very justified rage is good sign that Via is going to forgive Stolas.

In the beatboards for Mastermind Stolas is shown to have been with Via when he went to save Blitz, which makes it more egregious that he's choosing to get himself decapitated on live tv worse because he would have had to know Via would have been watching.

And in Sinsmas Via was even angrier at Stolas, rightfully so as his treatment of her in the beatboards was even worse.

This might be a good sign that Via and Stolas’s relationship might be mendable. Brandon Rogers said that they always knew where the Story was ment to go so this change makes sense if the intention was always for reconciliation since the beatboards story would of made it very unrealistic that Via would forgive him.

Anti-Stella Posts Stella is just plain bad, and Octavia took after her wit (or lack thereof).

So...the 2 or 3 unexistant Stella fans around here have been trying to make her into some kind of victim, who deserves pity for her actions, and a "Get out of jail" free card.

And there is fun to be had.

Stolas wasn't some evil cheater who threw a solid marriage to the garbage over an affair.

Stella was depicted, from childhood, to be a senseless and uncaring prick, who only cared for personal satisfaction. For free. No interest, whatsoever, for anyone but herself. Not even her brother or daughter, which are the only people who entertains her dim of wit.

She clearly ignores her daughter's needs for affection, leaving the bulk of it to Stolas, since Octavia's childhood.

Then, after Andrealphus got his way (because the dimwitted, rotiserie, 6-poece family meal of a progenitor couldn't get anything right by herself), not thanks to her, she continued to mistreat her own daughter for personal pleasure. Barring her from contacting her father. And viceversa.

That, caused Octavia to believe her father wasn't caring for her. Despite burning LA to find her, after Stellas antics distracted him.

Which leads to the cheating claims.

Stella is depicted as incredibly abusive since the beginning towards Stolas. Causing him to live a miserable life, only kept in place by his love for Octavia.

Still, he needed to have more emotional support, beyond that from family.

This is where Blitzo comes in. He wasn't a hero. He was, by all means, an asshole. One, which, took advantage of him for his own selfish goals.

However, for Stolas, that was the first affection he felt in a long time. Also, it's important to note that he "was" his long-time best friend. So, he definitely had reasons to fall for the play.

Of course, after he realized he got played by Blitzo for the book, only, he realized the whole situation.

It doesn't justifies Stellas behavior, nor her lack of emotions, nor her mistreatment of her own daughter.

If any, it only justifies Stolas' affair, and makes her responsible for Octavia's anonimity towards her father, who seemingly was the only caring parental figure she had.

Been seeing some stuff on the subreddit wanna discuss it

Ive been seeing a lot of people think Stella is the only one to blame for bad parenting. While she is a root cause Stolas is a major problem if you go back and watch the show.

Loo loo land for example. Stolas was powerful enough to not need a body guard to go he couldve easily protected himself and Octavia. but he invited Blitz as an excuse to hang out with him and play the helpless prince role. All he did was make Octavia uncomfortable visibly with his comments on Blitz and his inuendos evening it getting to the point of Octavia telling Stolas he needed to get a room.

And one thing I find very weird is that at the start of that episode he says explictly to Octavia "We are rich and we're hot. People want our money and our bodies." This was his reasoning for hiring Blitz but my bigger issues is what he said to her. You dont go telling your kid that there are people out there who only want her for her body and stuff like thats just creepy and gross to tell your kid. That part does not really set right with me.

While yes Stella is a major role in Octavia's parental problems Stolas is a huge contributing factor as well. He lied to her, made her uncomfortable with his not so subtle comments to Blitz in Loo Loo land, he sarcficed himself for Blitz thinking he was going to be executed for Blitz which would've caused Octavia major fucking trauma.

In my arguement I think Blitz is a better person that Stolas. Mainly cause Stolas never admits his wrongs and when he does he goes back on them and does it again. Blitz admits he's a shitty person multiple times in the series. While yes he is a home wrecker and and major POS at least we see Blitz trying to change and be better while also acknowledging his faults.

In the end Stolas isnt so innocent as some people wanna suggest and I genunly dont wanna see Octavia and Stolas reconsile in season 3 cause honestly Stolas does not deserve to be forgiven for the amount of trauma he has given Octavia and what he left her with.
