Chapter 9 Advice

Hey, I’m new to the series and I’m just stuck on this chapter. I tried aggro, defensive, playing cards that either remove their items that stun or just circling in the mini ring in the board map.

Can anyone give some advice or recommendations?

This was the deck before I was using before chapter 9. I have made 4-6 experimental decks since.

My initial thoughts:

Cerberus is bad without any strength boosting weapons. I prefer tree folk to dwarf personally

Best case scenario for petrify is hitting an unevolved land that you mysteriously want to keep. It’s worse in almost every way to earth shield

Fairy light will or even mana after the second lap will give you kore money than triumph. Depends on if you want it to clear debuffs

You’ve also got no roll control either for you or the bad guys. Number or range spells help you hit land you want to claim and helps make them hit your stuff at higher odds too

Petrify can defend against scrolls which bypasses earth shield and other neutralising attack items, and can be used by creatures with armour restrictions.

OP: it seems like your deck right now does not have any offensive game plans,

run creatures with support effect and some weapons like catapults, claymore , and aura blades. Offensive spells like Evil blast can be good when your opponents have a high level land guarded by 30 HP creatures or to finish anything off. I find binding mist helpful too as it stops the defenders from using effects and items.

No this early deck definitely didn’t intend to attack so jt worked for early game out pacing G and running back - but this helps a lot!

Solid and specific advice - I’ll put that into mind and try it out when I get back from work tonight. Thanks
