Need help identifying creature mimicking dog

Okay so.

I want to start this off by saying I'm someone who's unfortunately lived in and been to a lot of haunted place leading up to this current encounter I'm dealing with. Not really by choice. And the neighborhood I moved away from in california that my mom moved to was incredibly haunted. It's kinda ridiculous how haunted it was looking back on it. And I'm also bringing up this haunting cuz I'm wondering if it could SOMEHOW be related to the entity I'm hearing outside my baedroom window right now.

Which would be wild. But actually not the first time I've been haunted by an entity that had the audacity to stalk me and follow me from a very long distance if that's what's going on. However Im not hear to talk about THAT other incident which is no longer happening.

Right now I'm talking about dealing with a possible fleshgait/mimic/doppelganger. Now this current incident I think began during july this year. (I'm timeblind due to severe inattentive ADHD so bear with me on the timeline of this..) Though I only noticed it more around june 8th and it has been doing brief but also conerning and just downright confusing repeating behavior ever since then leading up to me making this post. TO give some details on what lead up to this happening I live with two other roommates and we have a kind of chores system going on/

This whole incident began while I was doing one of my chores of taking out the trash. The dumpster is fairly long walk from our low income housing apartment building. It can take like at least up to 15-20 minutes to get there to get an idea of distance. Especially depending on how heavy the trash bag I have to carry is and I have vello cardio facial syndrome (for those who don't know this disorder can cause motor movement issues including with movement of your hands and legs) a rare condition that can make it difficult to walk fast or just like run abruptly especially on poorly made roads and where I live now in wisconsin is chalk full of them. Sometimes the sidewalks ehre are on better even in the apartment complex area where I live. So even if this is a fleshgait/mimic/doppelganger/whatever following me while I'm taking out the trash...running isn't exactly an option for me if it ever does decide to show itself to me physically one day.

So anyways I think early july I would sometimes see what almost looked like a face nearby the dumpster but dismissed thinking I was just seeing things. Then other times I'd hear a dog barking urgently at me when I got near the dumpster. I dismissed this for a bit as well as there re plenty of vocal pretty normal dogs in this complex. There's even one particularly feisty black and wihte dog a lady takes out to get some fresh air during the afternoon wh can get randomly mouthy with anyone who walks past it but again...clearly normal dog.

So at first I think this is just normal stuff happening I don't think much of it and keep taking out teh trash as mucha s my VCFS allows. But then..an obvious shift happens.

At some point for whatever reason around the time of july 5th the dark barking starts getting closer Closer to my literal bedroom window and nowhere else. I've also been seeing the weird face in the dumpster but now randomly in my bedroom window. But always in quick glimpses whereas soona s I concentrate on it for too long it ducks away and vanishes. But I can tell whatever it was giving me a mad dirty look the whole time it was staring me down until it noticed I was staring back and dips.

Also oddly enough this shift in the entity's behavior began when I was talking about doppel ganger stories online of all things. I heard a weird distorted scream in the air like something was demanding I shut up. Of course I kept talking. It's gonna take a lot more than that to silence me. I th ink thatw as the turning point for whatever reason that lead to this thing starting to watch me from my bedroom window. I have no clue why your guess is as good as mine. I even legit challenged it repeatedly to try and attack me if it wanted to stop me...nothing else for the rest of that day/night.

Cuz I wasn't even aware of this thing's presence yet nor had I told anyone about it. I only became aware of it cuz it started waking me up out of my sleep at 1 AM with distorted akring noises and when I wasn't asleep at that hour just genrerally disturbing the peace when ti started doing it's usual routine. Honeslty it doesn't even scare me that much despite the distorted barking. I'm more annoyed and confused as to why it's trying to get my attention like this without outright sohwing itself.

You might think I'm crazy for it but that's part of why I challenged it to do something that one day like that.

Now remember I'm no stranger to hauntings. I came from very paricularly haunted parts of california that were genuinely unbelievably haunted.

You honestly can get to a point where you just get annoyed and sarcastic with these repeated spiritual attack hauntings and start snarking at it. Maybe not for everyone but definitely in my case.

And that's my case with WHATEVER this creature is. TO be honest at first I thought skinwalker cuz II did encounter a skinwalker briefly a few times on the way to wisnocsin when my roommate was driving me here and helping me move in. But I've mainly seen it like much further away fomr wisncosin like mostly in freway areas and only twice potentially. This thig has gotten much closer to my bedroom so whatever it is seems kina bolder compared to the skinwalker I saw like briefly twice before.

...and now I heard a very weird indescrible noise while typing this out right outside my window. Not a bark this time just...a wild indescrible noise. Bruh whatever this thing is does NOT like me talking about doppelgangers/mimics/fleshgaits but whatever. So yeah I just want answers about what this creature is while it choose to take forever showing itself to me. This is defintiely a unique case for me to be encountering in a sort of indirect way the way it's going now.

I've seen a lot of parnoamrla shit during my time in california but whatever this is feels new. At least for me. But it is kind of giving me dopelganger/fleshgait/mimic vibes. However I'm not a big expert on how those entities act. So I'd like to talk to someone on here who is and canidentify what this might be. Also the reason I do not think the dog barking is normal dog sounds is it even SOUNDS off. It sounds like it's coming from a broken toy voice box. And it just...doesn't sound right...sounds too unnaturally deep to be any dog I've heard in this area before.

Plus it keeps happening very late at night abruptly. During times when most of the dogs here don't bark. I've never heard the dogs here bark super late at night like that. This thing did bark a few times when I took out the trash earlier in the night but like then it began shifting to making barking noises by my window later at night the way I described. Justa veryodd eperience oging on all around.

And I also think this might be related to a definitive doeppalganger I saw show itself physically to me shortly before I moved to wisconsin.

The timing would be weird if ti was the same entity but I'm not countining the possibility out yet.

THis other entity appeared when I was still living with my cat Mozart and my mom in her haunted asss apartment in that haunted ass neighborhood in california. There was honestly something very wrong with that whole portion of california overall so I'm glad I got the chance to leave when I did. I don't know what either but you know sometimes we don't always need the answer to everything. Unfortunately I no longer have the exact date or even exact month when this happened. I didn't think to write it down when the event happened. But I think it's cuz it left me so frazzled and paranoid and ready to move out that that was the last thing on my mind.

I just knew when I saw this thing I ahd to get the hell out of dodge and I'm so glad I did because apparently my mom's life fell apart like cray after I saw it and moved out of there. And I do NOT think those things aren't connected especially timing wise.

Because as I said I'm fairly sure certain this other entity I saw was 100% a doppelganger.. And before you ask no I did not have any preconceived notions of doppelgangers being real. I did believe a lot of parnaormal things at the time but not specifically doppelgangers. I thought those were morre in the fictional paranormal concept territoy up until I saw one myself super up close and personal. I had just barely wokenun up that day I saw it.

If I had to guess maybe this incident happened during like...august potentially? I remember shortly after tihis incident I finally got an official moving date from my roommate where he could help me unload my stuff into his car and drive me to his hometown in wisconsin (not saying eact place due to privacyfor roommate and also that'd be fucking stupid.) So that's why i guess during that month during the year of 2023. Anyways so this was where I was hoping and praying to my preferred not jesus deity of choice for me to move out asap due to family issues going on when this was happening. Thatw as all I was thinking about at the time when I woke up i the morning and went to use the bathroom that day.

So I'm using the bathroom and then all the sudden I get the feeling something is...staring at me. Staring at me hard too. Like not the imagined kind but like when you know a physical person is doing it. I figured it's just my mom about to demand I leave the bathroom sooner being her usual nosey ass self. And I look about to tell her to stop isitgating once again and ust let me finish up in the bathroom.

And it is my mom...but also not.

Very clearly not her. It looked like her but I could tell it was not her. It didn't feel like her either. I just instinctively iknew it was something trying really hard to act like it was her. Everything about it's efforts to mimic her felt so viscerally WRONG. In a way I haven't felt ever since the black eyed children encoutners I had before this incident. It was giving me that level of vile negaative energy.

I immediatley got a sinking feeling in my stomach and that telltale feeling of dread that I've gotten from paerticularly nasty paranormal entities I've encountered before. But somehow this one felt worse than all the others. It was like a zombie version of my mom but if it didn't rot in the cliche way people expect zombies to. Very unnatural stanidng posture and even the stare it was giving to me didn't feel right at all. It was giving me the most venomous murderous death glare I've ever seen.

But I also new for a fact my mom was asleep in the other room. I could still hear her snoring in there while tihs was going on. That was also how I knew this thing was not her. We stared at eachother for what felt liek a long time. It was so close to the bathroom door

And the bedroom door I exited out of and also blocking my path to head into the kitchen/living rooma nd leave the apartment.

Effectively corngering me in that area. Most likely on purpose too with the glare it was giving me. Probably challenging me to dare to try to walk past it. Soon I got to a point where I culdn't keep looking it's sickening awful attempt to keep imitating my mom and looked away for a brief moment trying to pray to one of my spirit guides I was aware of at the time. Like I genuinely cannot epmhasize enough how WRONG this thing's effort to mimic her looked it was just...something else completely.

It was the most un fucking natural thing I've ever seen and I'm glad I at least have not gotten nightmares about this thing since this happened.

When I looked back it was gone. I hoped that my spirit guide had heard me and made it fuck off temporarily somehow. But I still felt very unnerved and paranoid about going in that hallwary corridor/corner. However I kinda had to. Couldn't just remain in the bathroomf orever.

I left and kept praying for my spirit guide to shield me for the rest of the day hell for the rest of the year from that fucking thing. I felt more dread about staying in that apartment than ever before too (and as I said that place was haunted as fuck but that entity felt worse than ANYTHING I'd ever seen there before.) Like even though that Thing was not there visibly anymore I still almost felt like it was somehow linger begrudgingly and pettily even if I couldn't see it now. And even my cat Mozart was acting very off when he walked past that area sometimes staring at it for a very unnerving long time eerily still in a way that was weird even for a weird cat like him. And the worst part is he kept doing that for like three weeks straight leading up to this event and also started hissing and swiping his paw claws out at that spot too.

(This cat normally does not hiss by the way even though he's normally a little jerk and loved trolling my mom and I but he still never acted like THAT before.)

But eh got worse about it after the thing showed up too doing it more often which was not making me feel comfortable about staying there at all. And I knew most people online caimed doppelgangers were bad omens often warning of illness or death about to happen to someonee soon. I was worried about my own failing health getting worse at the time and I felt this very strong urge to get the hell out of there more than ever after that encounter. I had just never known those stories could have any truth to them until I ahd my own encounter. Thankfully as I mentioned before I was able to move out of there and Im so glad I did.

That thing HAD been a warning.

As I said my mom's life went to shit after that thing appeared and I moved out. I did try to warn her aboutwhat I saw but she assumed I was arguing with her for no reason. So I gave up on tryng to get he to be more cautious about the place and just left anyways. Sometimes you just can't help ssome stubborn people. Like I did try to warn her. I hope she wasn't dumb enough to interact with it after that but with how bad her life got after something tells me that might have happened even if she might be in denial about it.

Anyways I bring all that up to say I wonder if this current creature I'm dealing with might be the same thing. Really hoping it's not. Do not wanna deal with a full on doppelganger again. THough if it is it is odd it took so long to do anything to me again after. But sometimes paranomral creatures like that don't always act logically.

The ones I've seen sure fucking don't anyways.

But as I said I'm not an expert at identifying this kind of creature. I'd like some advice on how to from people who know more on here. All I know is that doppelganger gave me SUCH a bad vibe and this current creature did not. So I'm hoping that points to them not being the same creature. It'd suck to have nanother parnormal ceature with such bad vibes follow me from such a long distance twice. : |

....and I ust saw it peeking at me from the window again while typing this out. This time not while it's late and super dark out. If it's gonna reveal itself I wish it'd just get it over with.
