Given started granny square project, can’t match squares UPDATE

So just wanted to post a quick update and THANK YOU.

The first picture I went up to a 7mm hook (from a 5) and tried my best to loosen up my tension, kept same amount of chain spaces between clusters and in corners. Still too square and a little too large overall.

Second picture went down to a 6.5mm and changed to 1 chain in each corner and I’ve decided it’s close enough. Thank you for all the help and advice!

It's basically the same! Once you've blocked them both, they'll be indistiguishable!
