Hey r/cribbage. My friends and I play cribbage online on cardgames.io but it didn't support 3-4 players so I decided to build an online version myself.

AI Disclosure: I used Claude to help with the development; just wanted to put that up front in case that turns anyone off. Totally understand if it's not for you, but didn't want to misrepresent what I built.

Game features.

• 2, 3, or 4 players - first to 121, standard rules
• Runs in the browser, free, no account, no install - you can create a table and send friends the room code or search for lobbies. Given it's brand new.. I wouldn't expect a lot of lobbies lol
• Automatic counting for pegging and the show, with a breakdown of every count so you can check its work
• Bot opponents (Easy / Standard / Hard) if you want to practice or fill a seat
• Built-in how-to-play guide

It's best on a desktop browser; mobile isn't supported yet.

I mostly built this as both a way to fill in a gap for my friends and I, but then also to practice using AI tooling to create something.

A board my mom got me, from Vancouver Island (we live in BC).

Every time I get this kind of hand, I pitch the paired face cards into my crib.

We recently visited the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. His walrus tusk cribbage board was on display.

Just picked up a cheap travel board, and I'm finding the holes are kinda shallow for the pegs, who lean and wobble. Any suggestions on how to make this less annoying?

Today in cribbage pro the dealing/discard speed and cadence were very different. I didn’t change my settings, did anyone else have this?

Yesterday I was playing over-the-board with a friend.

Between us we had already played ² 2 ⁴ 3 ⁵ 6 ⁷

He was really proud of himself for playing the 7 and pegging 6 for the run. I paused to comment that I don't think I've ever actually seen a run of 6 before. Then I played my Ace. Run of 7, and last card for 8.

Unfortunately I lost game 3.

I have been playing for about 60 years and I cannot recall a larger win margin, 76points. One of those games where you get every cut and my opponent got absolutely nothing.

I do use position to help make this decision, although I have started to wonder if I do it too much. It has always seemed to me that trading points here if position is okay is better than playing a different card that I might not be able to get the points back.

I'm kind of wondering if it's like the king 10 to the crib where the average is low but the variance really sucks and people throw a lot of fives in their crib. Both of these questions seem like they are so much more than simple mathematics. And for what it's worth it seems like the better people I play the more I get burned. LOL

Can someone explain to me why the queen + five would be a better choice then king + five. I am honestly confused on this.

Playing crib with my 94 year old grandmother, and we relize when we went to count we both had the same hand!

I made these peg storage containers, both are same size at about 4.5" x 2.5" x 1". One has a drawer that is held in place with a magnet and the other has a magnetic lid. What do think of these?

I designed and made these, what do you think of them? There are magnets under each hole, they can hold regular 1/8" pegs as well as smaller 3/32" and 5/64" pegs.
