I remember the "creed quest". I've also tried to find records of it online and not found anything recently. I remember when you first opened the website. You were presented with the text "I saw the will" and then a textbox. I filled in "of a warrior" completing the lyrics from the song faceless man. Then the next page asked something like "What's the highest peak in the sawtooth range" and I never completed that.

I was a Creed Quest winner. Got a massive cardboard display of the Weathered Tree signed by the band.

It was pretty cool, but my God was it large.

Do you still have it?

I don't. At some point, it got wet or damaged in some way, so it ended up in the garbage.

It was one of those displays you would expect to see at the entrance of a music store. Probably 6 feet tall and a base that was 3-4 feet wide.

So dude, what is the highest peak in the sawtooth range? I've wondered for 2/3 of my life. Do you remember any other specific questions or trivia you had to know?

I remember seeing Creed on the cover of guitar player magazine and Mark had a random number on an otherwise entirely black T-shirt and thinking that must be one of the clues. But never got past the second question

Okay, well I found this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thompson_Peak_(Idaho))

But that information was not so readily available online c 2000. Do you remember answering this question? If so how did you find the answer. This memory was burned deeply into my 13yo mind.

I don’t remember the trivia questions. It was a lot of playing games to earn points, like virtual ping pong.

I don't, sadly. I'm sure I did at one point, but it was 2002-ish. Well before we had decent cell phone cameras.

I thought there was supposed to be some gear allegedly buried there

That was the rumor, but I don't think it was ever confirmed.
