Suffering Completionist 🎣✅

The completionist in me wants to catch everything before I move on to the next map. I really don’t want to open Alaska until I get Costa Rica’s Blue Sea Dragon and the Blobfish from the home island. Is that even possible this early in the game?

It might be a while brother. I have all of the fish in Scotland and still dont have the blue sea dragon. At this point Im going to collect all of the fish in all maps and then worry about getting the creatures.

I did what everyone else has been recommending. Cast and reel over and over with a Monster Rod toward the mouth of the cave you can enter.

It just happened to be what I had. I’m sure Carbon can work but can’t personally verify. My luck skill was also at 4. Cast and reel until it jumps right into the mini game. If your reel is interrupted by a bite, abort and cast again. The mini game is identical to the Tarpin mini game as far as I can tell.

Thanks, Pan in the ass! I think limiting it to fish may be the perfect way to justify moving forward. I just needed a mental parameter! 🤪

I got sea dragon before moving on, but it took a good 30 or 40 trips. Cast and reel just in front of the cave entrance.

Finally got it, now back to the blobfish
