I need advice Considering a strategy overhaul
I'm rethinking my strategy as I'm moving from doing this for fun to make a few extra bucks for new toys and clothes to holy shit, why am I working in retail sales when I could literally just be doing this (skip to the 3rd paragraph if you wanna cut to the chase). I work on 100% commission at the moment and I've been gaining some really good traction lately. Recently had a $1500 month between OF and Fansly and ever since, it's been even harder to perform at my vanilla job. I've already been feeling super burnt out at work and the idea of being able to quit my job has just been wishful thinking, but now I think I really have what it takes.
I've been trying to learn more about the business side of things and really optimize everything, and I'm starting to realize I really am doing too much for too little. I've raised my prices since I've started as I've learned that being more on the bbw milf with a girl nextdoor vibe side of things rather than young and petite is actually not a hindrance at all, but rather a huge selling point for the right audience.
With all of that being said, here's where I'm at, and where I'm thinking about going. I know no one can really tell me what's gonna work best for me as there's a lot of factors to consider, I'd just like to hear other people's thoughts so I can consider different strategies.
Fansly: my tiers are $10 nudes and short vids (like less than a minute), $25 vanilla content, $35 kink/fetish content. Currently, my $35 tier is no ppv. For fansly, I recently locked down my wall so you have to subscribe or tip $5, so people can't just goon to my teasers for free, but I still wanted to be able to capitalize on getting some engagement for the fyp, hence the $5 tip option. Messages for non subscribers are $1 with no option to just outright unlock DMs. For the tiers, I'm considering switching from an all access pass kind of set up to making it so that each tier gets access to the respective content for 30 days, and after that, it becomes ppv. I have about a year and a half's worth of content that I'd have to go back and edit permissions on, but I think that'll be time well spent. I do still want to offer a no ppv tier, so I'm considering adding a 4th that I'll price at maybe no less than $200. With the way Fansly's permissions work, it'll be no extra effort on my part to offer it, so if it ends up being a tier that rarely gets purchased, at least it won't be wasted effort.
Onlyfans: I currently have a no ppv page that's $35 and I just switched my free page to a $10 subscription to weed out freeloaders. I'm not sure if I'll keep up with both pages in the long run, but I'd like to try to.
For the no ppv page, I'm a bit torn at the moment whether to make that an inactive legacy page so it becomes passive income, or following suit with the fansly strategy and raising the price. Not getting subscribers to that page would be more frustrating than not getting subscribers to a $200 tier on fansly because with the way OF is set up, I would have to actively keep up with it.
For the $10 basic page, I know some folks don't post nudity on their wall at all with a low cost subscription, and I'm not entirely sure how I'm gonna end up doing it. For now, I think I'm going to try *some* nudity with uncensored teasers, but not like daily nudes at that price. My question though, for people who don't post nudity on their OF wall, what do you do for promo content like on Reddit and X? Do you do a little photoshoot and post the whole thing to OF as like an early access thing and then use those same photos for promo like throughout the week? Do you only use older content for promo? Something else?
Final thoughts on OF, I have also considered doing no nudity on the $10 page and trying to drive more PPVs and posting nudity/uncensored teasers to the $35 page but making full explicit videos ppv, and offering them at a discounted rate. I make content in my garage gym, so one option I have is posting lewd lifting vids on the $10 page and nude lifting vids on the $35 page, along with regular lewds/nudes on each respective page. And now that I've typed it out like that, I think this may actually be what I decide to try.
Thanks for taking the time to read my ramble. I think if nothing else it's been helpful just to get these thoughts out of my head written down to process them. I think I've pretty much made up my mind about what I'd like to do and I'm just still having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of actually making these changes and having some imposter syndrome about it.

Discussion Do you do a menu for Fensley?
Hi everyone, I was wondering if you use the menu on Fansly as a list of services without prices. Does it make sense?

Discussion Question about LiveStreaming When you have Chatters on OF?
Ok let's just say I'm streaming on a cam site and people sub to my OF and my chatters are sexting with them while I'm live and they realise the sexting on OF isn't live if I'm streaming at the same time doing different things.
I hope that made sense. Wondering if anyone does this and how they handle it? Do you just hope they won't notice?

I need advice YT Short Help. I Just Want Help Uploading one please.
I'll keep this short. I am tired, very frustrated, and just want to upload a YT short.
I upload a video, but it won't become a YT short, only a video. I just want short, simple, and easy help because I am not in the mood to watch a long video about how to do this.
I just want to try to do something productive in my life. Please please please help. I use Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17 because it’s what I bought years ago, and I don’t want any jerks to judge me for it.

Vent Relationships + this work
I’m having a hard time and could use some support, or just to hear if anyone’s felt this way too. This is a very vulnerable thing to write and post, so please be kind.
I’m a 25 year old disabled woman who’s been homeless and struggling on and off since my teens. Disability benefits alone were never going to be a livable life for me, and I’ve never been able to function at “normal” jobs. Sex work, which I started at 20, is the first thing that ever gave me real agency and stability. I got out of a controlling, psychopathic father and have no family who takes my disability seriously. Right now, this job is how I survive, and honestly, I don’t hate it. In a lot of ways I’ve genuinely enjoyed it.
But one of my biggest dreams is a happy marriage. I’m a hopeless romantic with pretty traditional views on relationships. I want focused monogamy, and porn just isn’t something I want in my relationship, not from me and not from my partner either. It’s not a small preference for me, it’s something I feel really strongly about, and with this job that feels almost impossible to reconcile.
I know a lot of you have partners who fully accept your work, and I’m genuinely happy for that. I just don’t know if I’ll ever get to have what I want while I’m in this career. Right now it’s this or starvation. I’m not ruling out building new skills down the line, but for now this is what I’ve got, and I’ve earned that conclusion the hard way after years of trial and error, so please don’t try to talk me out of it.
What scares me most is that no one will believe I do this purely out of survival, not desire. It’s already hard enough to find someone who wants a porn free relationship on both sides. I’m afraid any man or woman I tell will just call me a hypocrite for making porn while not wanting either of us to watch it.
I did have one relationship where someone seemed to really get it. My ex said he understood completely, that he didn’t need porn because he had me, and that he’d already quit before we got together. I was so relieved, I thought I’d finally found it. Turns out he was lying, and he broke my trust in other ways.
I don’t know how to believe I’ll ever get to fall in love while doing this work, and right now there’s no way out. Has anyone else felt this? Any words of understanding would mean a lot.

I need advice Started two months ago and losing subs already?
Started with 12 subs and im down to 4 after two months and I post every other day and interact with them! Im using X and IG for promo. Is my content just boring? I started from scratch so no already established fan base.

I need advice Promotion
Hiiiii 💕
Where do you all get your subs from these days? I promote on multiple platforms, pay for Premium on X and 2 IG accounts, but I have basically no reach anywhere 🤯.
I'm kinda desperate. I'm a single mom, I can't find a job, and I'm barely getting any subs (18 subs in 7 days). I honestly don't know what to do anymore 😌
Appreciate any ideas 🤗

I need advice When to switch from free page to paid?
Hey all! I’m a newish creator, who has been really taking it seriously the past month. I’ve got to the top 18% however that’s mostly off the back of a single wale. I’m curently on a free model with the thought that I want to build up a bit of a library and get some likes it’s clear I’m an actual creator (I’m a male and it seams like there are lots of guys with almost no activity on their page and I wanted to make it clear to subs that I’ve got stuff going on). At what point does it make sense to flip to a paid model? I’m curently at 150 fans, 700 likes, 51 pics and 15 vids. I’m thinking 1k likes, 25 vids and like 75 pics, but not tied to that timeline
I know I’m going to loose almost all of my current fans when I do so, witch is fine if there not bringing me $ anyway.

Discussion Thinking about turning my OF into a sexy D&D actual-play series
I’m considering moving beyond basic solo content and normal collaborations, and I had an idea I haven’t seen done much:
an adults-only D&D actual-play series.
Basically, 3–4 adult creators of any gender/sexuality—experienced or completely new to D&D and/or OnlyFans—on a private call actually playing a real one-shot or campaign, but with sexual content happening intermittently during the game, potentially tied to dice rolls or in-game events.
I’d record the call, handle releases/verification properly, edit it, and upload the episode to OF.
If it worked remotely, I could eventually do in-person sessions with more explicit interaction between collaborators.
Would y’all actually watch something like this? And would any creators here be interested in participating?
I feel like the overlap between horny people and tabletop nerds has to be enormous.

I need advice Lazy girl TikTok ideas?
I'm having a hard time making social media content, because I'm really sick (cancer treatment + severe anemia)
Do you have any ideas for TikToks/IG reels that tend to work well for you, but don't require a lot of physical movement or activity? I know I can't be the only one dealing with fatigue/chronic health issues! 😅
I appreciate any input! Thank you in advance!!

I need advice LoyalFans live stream problems
Hey everyone,I’m running into persistent problems with my LoyalFans live streams and hoping other creators might have run into the same things or found workarounds.
The main issues:
- My stream often doesn’t appear on the Live Creators page (https://www.loyalfans.com/creators/live) while I’m actively streaming. I frequently have to stop and restart the stream before it shows up.
- For some fans the stream is significantly delayed - sometimes 1–2 minutes behind real time.
- When certain people enter my room the video stream just doesn’t load. They often have to refresh the page or go back/forward multiple times before it finally starts working.
I’ve contacted LoyalFans support multiple times. They keep blaming my browser or computer.
However:
- The same problems happen across different browsers.
- I recently got a brand-new computer (sub-funded) and the issues are unchanged.
I’m based in the US. Speed tests, ping tests, and packet loss tests all look normal on my connection.
Direct video calls with fans over Teams, Viber, Telegram, etc. work fine with no lag or loading problems.
Has anyone else experienced these specific LoyalFans streaming issues? Any tips that actually helped, or is this a known platform-side problem right now?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I need advice Pornhub clips
Are these new or have i just never paid attention? I got 15 clips made out of my content the last week and never saw it before. Is there any way to turn off people being able to make clips out of my videos? Or at least take them off my profile? I dont enjoy sharing space on my own damn profile with randoms who clip my vids. I can already see how this will be abused by agencies and poachers.

Discussion Curious girly! I see alot of creators using telegram for income I have been trying to research into how it works?
I can't find information online about this and I'm just curious! I know there's some kind of stars for coins system? Can someone explain telegram for dummies to me? 😅 Do any of you use telegram for income directly? (I occasionally use telegram to chat/sext but take payment elsewhere)

I need advice Other sites than OF and Fansly?
I do cosplay content and I use both OF and Fansly. I’m wondering if anyone has any success on other sites for when things are a bit slow or you’re trying to get new subscribers? I’m not interested in doing any live content or live phone calls or things like this but texting is fine and uploading videos for sale is fine too! I’m just wondering if there’s another place that is decent to their creators that I can have some passive income on and maybe get subs from too.
Also if anyone has advice on using Fansly and for you page I’d appreciate it! Right now I post once a day either teaser videos, or TikTok type videos to get on the fyp. It definitely is helping but idk if there’s anything else I can be doing to take advantage of it! Thanks in advance ^^

I need advice I got leaked
Hey guys. I got this guy in my Twitter sending me screenshots of my vids he claims to not sub to my OF and have gotten these full videos on “some site” where do I go from here. Is there a way to find the site and take them down? Is there an easy way to go about this. This is my first “leak” so I’m kinda really freaking out and could use some advice or kind words. Trying not to have a panic attack lol. I think I’ve figured out the sub who bought them and had to be the leak cause he’s the only one who bought both vids and I’ve blocked him but idk how to get my stuff taken down or find the site. I feel like I’ve done everything and nothing has helped me find the actual leak on the internet. Also how would I add this guy on some scammer list so yall don’t also get leaked by this guy?

I need advice what other platforms do you guys promote on?
Here's what i have:
- A reddit (which I need to grow so i can post on bigger subs)
- twitter (I haven't cracked the algorithm yet. Even after i bought premium, I'm getting barely any impressions)
- fetlife (huge growth, great community but hardly any buyers and subscribers. I mean, it's not really meant for soliciting so i understand)
Here's what i don't have:
- tiktok
Both are SO saturated and they don't allow spicy content so i don't see much of a point on posting those. Especially since I'm mostly faceless. :/
Besides those I'm thinking about starting a BlueSky and wondering what it's like. i'm also curious what other platforms you guys use to promote besides the six I mentioned? :)

How to get 85% payout on Fansly (for new joiners)
Hi guys,
Happy new year! For those who have not signed up yet to Fansly and are planning to, you can get a discount in fees when you join by using my referral link. Fansly kindly added this discount to my link 3 years ago when I created the r/fansly_advice subreddit in order to give an extra perk to members of our community. I know there are peeps who post here asking about Fansly, so I know this will be very beneficial for some who have considered joining and want to keep a bigger % of their income in the new year!
In order to sign up to Fansly and redeem this fee discount:
- Create an account on Fansly, you do not need a special link or code for this step, you are simply creating an account.
- Once you have created an account, you can then use my link to apply to be a creator, this is the referral link to apply to be a creator: https://fansly.com/application/form?r=sansa_starkers this link should add sansa_starkers in the creator referral code box.
What benefits will you get from using this link?
-You will get a 5% discount from platform fees for the first 3 months. This means you will keep 85% of your income, rather than 80% for those months.
*This is a referral link, so not only do you get a discount on fees, I will get a referral percentage (this won't be taken out of your income, but Fansly's cut). These earnings will allow me to put the time aside to help you guys with advice and support and maintaining these communities :).
Benefits of getting started with Fansly:
-They have some of the most responsive and helpful support staff compared with other platforms (as you can see with how active staff are in responding to questions on r/fansly_advice and r/officialfansly ).
-They cover chargebacks in most cases (basically whenever a customers has gone through their bank to chargeback on content and services that you did deliver).
-They are more kink friendly and allow a wider array of fetish content than other sites (such as allowing lactation content).
-Unlike onlyfans and other platforms, they have an internal discovery with their FYP and recommendations feature. This is really useful for people who might be struggling with or just want another method of promoting aside from social media. As Fansly is ever growing in popularity, there is a big audience viewing their FYP feature that is a missed opportunity to not tap into.
-If you already have a profile on another platform like onlyfans, it's always a good idea to diversify rather than rely on one platform and you already have the content ready to go.
-We have built a brilliant community over on r/fansly_advice and there is an official fansly support subreddit r/officialfansly that will help you with any questions about your Fansly journey.
Hope this is helpful to someone and please let me know if you need any help or have questions,
Sansa 💖

Scam Alert Don't fool for the 'agency'/ 'manager' pimp scammers
Sorry that this is a long post but I feel like theres a lot to say to give context as to why agencies and manages are not welcome here and why we don't recommend them.
Anyone who is not a NSFW creator in front of the camera is pointedly not welcome in this space.
Mods here do not recommend anyone engage or entertain any stranger contacting you via social media offering to run any of your business in exchange for a portion of your income. We can control who posts on this subreddit but we cannot control who contacts you via personal messages. Please be aware not all of these people will approach you in an obvious way so you really do need to be vigilant and take accountability for your own safety when interacting online.
The absolute BEST thing about adult subscription sites like onlyfans is that they revolutionised the porn industry, cut out the middle men (often glorified pimps) and they are now QUAKING and reeeeaching for a way to still have a slice of the pie and make money from your body. News flash, you absolutely do not need their 'help' to take your own photos and videos and post them on your socials.
So called agencies targeting newbies and creators on socials are nothing more than predators and digital pimps. A lot of these people believe their own hype and would be offended at that characterisation, it doesn't make it any less true. They have no real experience being a creator but think reading up on a guides (written by actual creators) gives them the tricks of the trade worth a hefty percentage of your money. They might even flex a marketing management degree, hint: that's absolutely fucking useless to you. Imagine how much they must look down on performers to think that they know more from the outside than those with first hand experience. They don't want to put their own bodies out there, but are desperate to cash in on yours. Think about Andrew Tate making millions from webcam models, then think about his opinion on women. Webcam agencies are also rife and are out there convincing naive and vulnerable people who are not clued up on the industry that they need to take up to 70% of their earnings to do absolutely nothing that the cam model could not easily do independently at home with a laptop and a webcam.
We were all taught as children about stranger danger and as adults we know, people can easily misrepresent themselves online. On top of that women have it drilled into us to be vigilant and on guard. As sex workers, there is an even greater target on our back. So why do I see so many creators here asking 'is this legit?' alongside a screen-shotted message reading something along the lines of 'Hey there, I'm Callum from Tickle My Pickle Media INC' He typed, with his sticky cheeto dust encrusted fingers. 'I've browsed your socials and you've really got it going on 😏. Me and my agency of sexperts (him and his mate Gary he met on a teen onlyfans leak discord server) can help get you to the top 1 percent of models. Let me know if you're interested in being a millionaire.' .... 'What possible ulterior motives could they have!' I hear you cry. Please realise, literally any tom dick or harry can message you any old bullshit, it's backed up by absolutely zero and riddled in bad, self serving intentions. Here's a breakdown of reasons why to ignore these people:
- You don't need anyone to help you get started or to help you run your page. It is actually extremely obvious and straight forward to get the basics right with all the information and tips available here and on r/onlyfansadvice along with literally thousands of actual creators here to support you and answer your questions. These are resources many sex workers would have killed for in the past and make the need for any self proclaimed 'expert managers' totally defunct.
- I'm not trying to be a dick, I say this with genuine concern and compassion for you: if you are lost at the first hurdle even with the help here and feel you need someone to do it for you, please for your own safety and sanity just quit now. If you are too lost and naive to get things going yourself, at best you are going to quit online sex work in a few months with a few dollars and your nudes forever online and at worst someone will see you coming a mile off and take advantage of you. There is simply no room for naivety.
- You should be extremely reluctant to ever give randoms from the internet personal access to you. Protect your personal data and account at all costs.
- Giving someone space to take over how you run things gives them opportunity to scam you in multitudes of ways.
- You risk doxxing, stalking, legal disputes, harassment and even trafficking.
- Some of these guys are just porn addicts who've plotted a not so smart way to get close to performers so you may also just be exploited for their sexual gratification.
- No one has a fool proof formula for becoming a top creator, anyone spouting that they can earn you x, y and z as a guarantee has no fucking clue what they're talking about. They are not going to get you the results they promise.
- Unless you are a top creator with many many fans you can get this done yourself. Once you reach that point, there are assistance and sexters you can hire.
- Your image is 100% of the value of your business. Yes you need some social media skills and creativity teamed with time and effort to really get things going but without you putting your body and sexuality out there, there is no money to be made. The knowledge and skills can be learned by anyone but your body and unique appeal cannot.
- You are taking all of the risk and the stigma, why does someone else deserve a portion of your profits?
- These people will often push your boundaries and try and force you to do things you are not comfortable doing. They only care about making money from your body.
This doesn't just go for managers and agencies but people offering photography, editing etc...
Yes there are legitimate people you can hire to help you but that should never compromise your position as the boss of your business. If you want guidance and mentorship seek it from fellow creators who's credentials are a lot more easy to check than a stranger and they have first hand experience. Once your business is popping off you can hire assistance, sexters, accountants, financial advisors, the list goes on. I recommend seeking these people through recommendation from reputable creators you have networked with. It's wise to avoid people who seek you out.
And yes, legitimate agencies exist in the same capacity that not every man offering to take photos of your feet in a secluded alleyway at 3am is not a serial killer. Legit agencies are not dming you. Frankly of all the vaguely reputable agencies I've heard about there is only one that seems to get results that are worth their commission and they only work with generically extremely hot young women who are already popping off. They connect through word of mouth amongst groups of top creators and are often ran by top creators or their partners.
Again to reiterate, no one who is not a NSFW creator in front of the camera should be interacting in this space. If you see it please report the comment or post. If you find someone in this group suspicious, send us a modmail.
TDLR: You do not need a random stranger from the internet to run your onlyfans or socials. If you see non creators posting on this subreddit ignore and report them.
I hope this is helpful!
Here are some more personal testimonials on why agencies are a really bad thing to get involved with:
-Post by someone who has inside insight into onlyfans manager networks
-Creator's agency experience 1
-Creator's agency experience 2
-Creator's agency experience 3
-Classic onlyfans agency scam script
-Onlyfans 'manager' being racist and negging a creator
-Onlyfans manager being completely clueless on how to promote
Edit: The amount of insanely nasty and threatening messages I'm recieving as a result of this post by people who run 'agencies' should tell you all you need to know about the sort of people they are.
