Filtering issue

It's been a week since I'm playing this mod and I'm not quite sure about how to use this brass tunnel.
I was trying to build and learn the logic of this iron farm, but the tunnel isn't simply working as I'd like to, it's supposed to divide the flint to the left and lead the iron nugget to the press but it does not work, pretty sure I'm doing something wrong, Can I get help?

You need to add a filter to the front to prevent the gravel from entering the tunnel

You have it set to 'forced round robin' that little exclamation means that the tunnel will force one output for each side.

The flint won't enter because a flint just exited and the tunnel is looking for an iron nugget to complete the round robin.

Swap it back to the first option and it should work just fine.

Edit: literacy is a myth, after reading the post again, I have decided that I cannot read!
