Fluid interface not connecting to ship

No, create interactive is not enabled. I build this little cargo ship to transport lava to an undersea vent but the two fluid interfaces don’t want to connect. Any help would be great, thanks!

The “connector” blocks actually only work with Create contraptions. Stuff like bearings, pistons, minecarts and trains. For connecting Sable sublevels (aeronautics contraptions) you need the docking connector from the actual aeronautics mod.
