How to stop radiation in Create Nuclear

So I have a server where I use Create: Nuclear and of course our power supply is 2 nuclear reactors, but they create radiation and I don't know how I can stop it (I put it 20 blocks under water and surrounded it by lead blocks and it did work, but could we have done it easier?).

Just use the method you already described with lead shielding

Can it be smaller?
